I didn’t leave this place comfortably because of the entire service level (extremely poor), food (lots of MSG) and vibes (bad and weird, not foreigner friendly). It’s a one man band shop, the Chinese guy who owns this Japanese restaurant was pretty rude I would say. Not sure if he’s discriminating me of not being a local or what. He was ignoring me completely especially when I wanted to order some more food (maybe because I got a hard time reading the menu?). I was unable to keep ordering as he was just hiding at the corner of the bar playing with his phone while the restaurant itself was very quite empty with only 2 to 3 customers at core dinner hours. Don’t think he was that busy to take food orders... The complementary sashimi was not fresh at all. In the entire 15 to 20 mins, I only managed to order one iced Oolong tea and chicken wings. Chicken wings were full of MSG...total price is 1,130 yen. I think he also marked up the price. I have decided to leave this place without trying to order anymore. If you are looking for decent izakaya food, this is not the place for you.

This food had no reason to be this delicious. Absolutely some of the best izakaya food you'll ever have at these prices. Next time I'm in Tokyo, I will go out of my way to return here.

Worst service ever Making us order drinks first then not even one menu served until 1hour (ordered 4 dishes) Not even an apology from the owner The lady just kept saying “sorry” the whole time but no food at all We just sat there for an hour just waiting and had to cancel our order at the end when other customers were served normally I guess they discriminate customers on their nationality

The food and alcoholic drinks are delicious! The fried horse mackerel in the photo was thick and satisfying!! The fish platter was incredibly delicious too, and positively gleaming. Since two people run the place, I thought the food would take longer to arrive when it's busy. It might be good for people with time to relax, but I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone in a hurry! The interior isn't very spacious. The manager? was such a lovely person that I'd like to visit again!!
