A 24-hour eatery near Nishi-Nippori Station. You can choose small dishes to make your own set meal. This time I used it like an izakaya.

Had lunch here ２ times. At first glance the storefront seems uninviting, but I encourage you to go in. Inside, side dishes are lined up; put what you want on a tray and go to the counter. Collect your rice and miso soup, then sit down and eat. You pay at the register after finishing. Side dishes cost 100円, 200円, and I think fish dishes were 280円. 2 dishes plus salad, rice, and miso soup come to around 600円 or 700円. There is a variety of fried and simmered dishes, which I think is good. The curry seems even cheaper, but I have never tried it..

The Karaage Set Meal and Katsu Curry topped with plenty of cabbage are served freshly fried. Be careful not to take too many side dishes if you are extremely hungry. They also serve alcohol, so it is just right for a quick drink.

I never want to return to such an unbelievably discriminatory eatery. Of course I was not expecting luxury service. But there should still be basic standards. When I entered, nobody showed me where to go, I was not given water, and when I ordered extra rice, a strange male employee said with an annoyed face, “You already have rice.” Of course I understand that staff can misunderstand, but afterward he never acknowledged the mistake at all.

On curry day, it is cheap, fast, and delicious. Choose snacks for the Black Hoppy Set: Spinach Ohitashi, Chikuzenni, Chilled Tofu, fish, and finish with Tonjiru—fantastic😋 Thank you for the meal.🙏 See you tomorrow🖐️
