You will need to have the confidence and some basic knowledge of the language to not offend the chef. Not appearing like a tourist helps. Really good tonkatsu, especially the stuffed garlic.

Great vibes at this Showa-era tonkatsu spot. The curry tonkatsu is the obvious order although the tonkatsu set is also great. They've got a wide range of lunch specials and some interesting snacks to go with alcohol. Great prices too.

This place was recommend by a friend named Papa Noel and the Tonkatsu & Sashimi was simply amazing. This local spot hit the mark when it came to their food. Simple & worth the trip.

It's 30 seconds away from the Tokyo Sakura Trum Minowa station. The menu selection is super excellent. I envy people living in Minowa who can go to such a good local restaurant.

Very juicy & perfectly cooked Tonkatsu. You had lunch there, not many people in the restaurant. Quiet and local. Just 1 minutes away from Arakawa Line Minowa Station.
