It is a famous traditional Japanese sweets shop in Japan. The anmitsu topped with matcha soft-serve ice cream is exquisite. You can also enjoy retro Japanese dishes such as Napolitan spaghetti and omurice. The very handsome owner prepares the anmitsu for you.

Great retro cafe near Nippori station where you could enjoy classic Japanese sweets and deserts. The service was nice and quick and the seats were very comfy. Overall, amazing place to cool off after a hot day of exploring Tokyo.

Retro-style cafe at Yanaka Ginza. Anmitsu menus are served with hot tea.

Come for the soft-serve (dunno 'bout the rest). The place looks is old-school, with banquettes and all. I really can't say much about the menu, but I can confirm that the soft-serve is *stellar*, with brilliant mouth-feel, and that excellent excellent Hokkaido raw-milk flavor (if you've had it, you'll know what I mean). I did see a bunch of other patrons ordering the usual set of Japanese Diner food (omlette, yams, whatnot), but didn't get any. That soft-serve though, mmmmmm.
