Riding a Ferris wheel as an adult was scarier than I'd expected. Because the gondolas are see-through, you can see the scenery outside from all directions. I'm not afraid of heights, but as we got higher I felt a little scared. It goes up higher than the nearby apartment buildings, so my heart was pounding, but I had a fun time with my kids. From the Ferris wheel you can see all of Arakawa Yuen. I could get a sense of what's in the park, and I even spotted the fishing pond from above, so I'm glad I rode it.

It's a bit on the low side, but you can still enjoy views from Mt. Fuji all the way to Tokyo Skytree. The transparent acrylic Ferris wheel lets you see right down below, which is a little thrilling. I recommend going from dusk into the night-view hours. You can enjoy Tokyo's neon lights and the sunset.

It was crowded because it was a public holiday, but we could get on the Ferris wheel in about 5 minutes and could see Mt. Fuji and Skytree, so it was fun. The reasonable pricing is nice too.

There was also one decorated with hearts. Not only can you see the amusement park and the buildings, but on a clear day you can also see Skytree and Mt. Fuji.
