My first visit, at lunchtime on a weekday. There were so many menu options that it was hard to choose, but I went with the mini mapo tofu rice bowl and ramen set for 930円. Although called mini, the mapo tofu rice bowl was quite substantial, and the seasoning seemed carefully done, which was nice. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleFor the first time in a while, I enjoyed Chinese food you can’t get at a chain restaurant. Of course, high-end dishes are expensive, but the casual Chinese food known as machi-chuka is good value! It’s a little pricier than a chain, but this is where I’d choose to go. It’s about a 1-minute walk from 中神 Station, so do try it if you’re nearby. One drawback is that the owner? cooks alone, so if there are customers ahead of you, the food takes longer to arrive.
View on GoogleFor today’s lunch, I went to 『中華料理 山翠』 in front of 中神 Station. Its distinctive sign had caught my attention. The interior was clean with a calm atmosphere. I ordered the “eggplant and pork spicy miso set meal,” and my companion ordered “八宝菜.” The food was piping hot, delicately prepared yet generous, and very delicious. The spicy miso in particular was so wonderful that words can hardly describe it. I suddenly had an idea, perhaps a little lacking in manners, but I put my companion’s 八宝菜 over rice, drizzled my spicy miso on top, and tried it………absolutely delicious!😋 When leaving, I asked the owner what the most popular dish was, and the answer was “八宝菜.” This is another place I’ll definitely return to.
View on GoogleI stopped by after work and had stir-fried liver and vegetables for dinner. The portion was generous and delicious.
View on GoogleIt's been over 20 years since I moved to the neighborhood. Whether after drinks or when I can't decide what to have for dinner, whenever I feel like Chinese food around here, I always come here. Every dish is insanely delicious. Karaage, chahan, all kinds of stir-fries—everything goes perfectly with beer.
