This was my first visit. It is what people call a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, but there are plenty of seats, and I could enjoy a leisurely meal. I chose the stir-fried garlic chives and egg set, thinking it would be quick to serve. It took about 5 minutes😄 I chose soy sauce for the mini ramen, but it turned out to be a more substantial dried-sardine ramen than expected, and it was delicious😋 The chives and eggs were also delicious, with just the right saltiness. Another visit. I have been here several times now😋 All the set meals are generously portioned. The shrimp and egg stir-fried in chili sauce and the chicken stir-fried with mayonnaise were both delicious♪ You can choose the ramen with your set, and the tonkotsu ramen was quite good too. Another visit. The pork, egg and wood ear mushroom stir-fry set, hoikoro set, and ginger pork set were all delicious😋 They say they will be closed from 2025.1.12 to 2.3. Apparently they are going home to China for Lunar New Year. I will come back to eat when they reopen😁 Another visit. I had the mapo rice bowl & tanmen set. The tanmen, which you cannot choose with the set-meal menu, was delicious😆 A little salty, but to my taste. Another visit. The shrimp in chili sauce set. There is a whole layer of cabbage under the shrimp, padding out the portion, though you cannot tell at a glance. Another visit. Everyone I know says the food has gone downhill. Personally, I do not think the main dishes have, but they are using truly awful rice🥲 Whether it is stockpiled rice or old rice, it is so dry. I wish they would serve slightly better rice. I had the meat and vegetable stir-fry set, and it was disappointing precisely because the main dish was quite good.
View on GoogleThis is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant across from 三多摩市場. There is parking beside the restaurant, but it is cramped. There are paid parking lots nearby. The interior has table seating for about 40 people. You can also pay with paypay. I stopped by for lunch. Lunch options include noodle-and-rice sets or sets with gyoza. Individual dishes are also available. The sets have quite large portions and are satisfying. The tantanmen I ordered was simple and mildly spicy, with komatsuna adding an accent. There was a substantial meaty presence too. The sesame flavor was not strong. It was properly spicy tantanmen rather than the milder style common lately.
View on GoogleI arrived at my client's place before lunchtime, so I decided to eat before visiting. The choices were the set-meal restaurant beside the market or the Chinese restaurant across the road. I was in the mood for neighborhood Chinese food today, so I went straight in. Although there were already 7 choices for today's lunch, inside there were also lots of set-meal menus, ramen sets, children's menus, and more. I ordered the chicken with thick black vinegar sauce from today's menu, and it arrived in about 3 minutes. They said rice, soup, and after-meal coffee had unlimited refills, so I had another half portion of rice and a soup refill. Delicious, thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleGreat value! Actually, incredibly great value! That day I had the special Taiwan ramen and mapo rice bowl set, while my partner had the liver and garlic chives set. I thought the Taiwan ramen might not be that spicy, but it was spicy enough to make me cough! Still, the flavor was so perfectly balanced that I enjoyed it to the last bite. We came just after opening, but once lunchtime arrived, the workers came pouring in! A Chinese restaurant loved by everyone.
View on GoogleI went back the other day after quite a while. Personally, I still think the portions are large, so I asked for less rice. I cannot eat as much as I used to, so it was just right. They said the lunch menu changes on Monday, but I believe Monday is their regular day off, so I think they meant Tuesday. I like that you can choose your own combination of cold noodles and fried rice. They said the cold noodles on their own come with a little more topping, so I ordered that, but personally I still found it generously portioned.
