SOOOOO delicious and affordable
View on GoogleI had Niboton. (I always have this) It's a bowl I love, letting me enjoy the niboshi aroma while savoring the flavor and satisfaction of tonkotsu. Extra noodles are reasonably priced at 110円, which is helpful. There's also a good selection of table condiments, such as ground sesame and garlic, so being able to customize it to your taste is another good point. There are 3 tables seating 4 people, so families and people with children can visit without hesitation. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI used to visit 5〜6 times a month, and recently I've been going about 1〜2 times a month. The Niboton (ramen) here is truly delicious. The niboshi makes its presence clearly known in the broth, but it's blended in good balance with the savory tonkotsu broth, and it easily beats similar niboshi tonkotsu ramen in Tokyo. It's really delicious, so I want everyone to try Niboton at least once. The chashu is also extra large and satisfying. It's tender loin-style chashu with relatively little fat. The staff have stayed the same for a long time, the service is good, and I like the restaurant's calm atmosphere. I think this ramen restaurant deserves to be better known and recognized nationwide, but perhaps its location in Nakagami makes it hard to gain recognition (it's not close to the station either). Judging purely by taste, I really think its Niboton ramen is among Tokyo's best.
View on GoogleA place where you can enjoy ramen based on niboshi and tonkotsu. Service is fairly quick at around 5〜10 minutes, and turnover is smooth. Inside, there are 4 table seats and about 20 counter seats, a reasonable number that makes it seem easy to get in. ⸻ ■Niboton(1050円) A bowl where the richness of tonkotsu hits clearly first, followed by a powerful rush of niboshi savoriness. Rather than a balanced tonkotsu×niboshi blend, both flavors assert themselves, giving it punch. The broth has a slightly coarse, powdery texture characteristic of niboshi, which may divide opinions. The noodles are thin, Hakata tonkotsu-style noodles that pick up the broth well. The toppings follow a classic lineup: wood ear mushrooms, green onions, menma, onions, and so on. The onions' sweetness softens the sharpness a little. The chashu is substantial, with a meaty texture that requires a firm chew. Overall, it's somewhat geared toward more experienced enthusiasts. It's not to my taste, but it's not a miss either. Still, it's not the kind of place I'd actively seek to revisit. ⸻ ■Chuka soba(990円) A simple combination of chashu, naruto, green onions, and menma. The broth is light with a slight niboshi flavor. The saltiness is well balanced, but it leaves something to be desired. The thin noodles seem to be the same as those in Niboton and are dependable. The noodle portion is somewhat generous, just about right for two children to share. Overall, it's easy to eat, but not particularly memorable. ⸻ ■Overall assessment All the ramen has a certain level of polish, but strong individuality or a “decisive reason to eat it again” is somewhat lacking. My impression is of a restaurant focused on consistency and suited to everyday visits.
View on GoogleI love the Niboton ramen here and have been coming for 7〜8 years. Among the many niboshi tonkotsu ramen places in Tokyo, this Niboton is my favorite. The blend of niboshi and tonkotsu broth is perfect, with both savory flavors felt in good balance. The thin noodles match the broth perfectly, and the toppings—onions, menma, wood ear mushrooms, and enormous chashu—are all delicious. I don't think anyone would expect such a delicious ramen shop in such an out-of-the-way location, but seriously, take a chance even if you're skeptical and come try their Niboton ramen just once. It's absolutely worth the trip! If you like Niboton, I'd really love you to come try it at least once, even from far away. Highly recommended.
