Stumbled onto this cafe/outdoor activities base after exiting the Musashi-Itsukaichi train station just as I was navigating the sightseeing route to take. This was a perfect stop as they have ebike / bicycle rental and a detailed route plan and sightseeing tips and advice. Coffee was great too. I had a most wonderful day away from the city and close to such beautiful nature yet quite accessible from Tokyo. Thank you! Would love to come back again with a bit more preparation for more outdoor adventures next time!

The bike rental/cafe shop is across from the train station. I stopped by on my way to a temple and had no plans to rent a bike. The owner convinced me it would be fun to take a bike and ride around the valley after the temple visit. And it was. Fall color starts, clear afternoon and cool temperature, family were out on the river picnicking and enjoying themselves. Thank you for a lovely unplanned trip. E-bike ¥3,500 a day. Mountain bike ¥2,500.

Excellent service by the male staff in the morning who helped me with the bike rental. He also showed me different routes I could take and suggested various attractions I could consider visiting. He even helped me with a lunch reservation at a restaurant nearby! As for the bicycle, it was stable and good to use. Helmet was comfortable and clean. Be sure to come here to rent a bicycle if you're daytripping Akigawa and would like to visit many locations. P.s. Price of bicycle rental was 2,800 yen for one day (return by 5pm). They also offer electrical bicycles but I recommend just getting the regular bicycle as the roads are quite easy to cycle on.

It was a wonderful cycling trip with perfect weather and beautiful autumn colours! Thanks to Kenji, our tour guide, we had an unforgettable time in the Japanese countryside, where he showed us some really cute and beautiful cafés and temples. We also went for a walk in the water, had a foot bath and enjoyed a picnic lunch right by the river. Without Kenji, we would never have had such experiences and seen such places, not to mention lunch by the river. It was a very special and enjoyable experience that we wholeheartedly recommend! The tour was well worth it! Thank you again for the grat experience!
