The Star Wheel is a large Ferris wheel where you can leisurely enjoy the scenery of Tokyo Summerland. A nice point is that you can ride it while sitting and resting after playing a lot in the pools and on the attractions. When you get up high, you can look out over the park and the surrounding nature, which feels liberating. It moves slowly, so we could enjoy it with peace of mind even with small children. Unlike the lively attractions, another appeal is being able to spend a calm time as a family. When visiting Tokyo Summerland, I recommend it for when you want to take a breather while enjoying the view. The Star Wheel is described as a Ferris wheel offering views from 223 meters above sea level.
View on GoogleA classic Ferris wheel in Summerland's amusement park category. There's no air conditioning, so it seems hot during the day in summer. You can ride in your swimsuit, but sandals are required, so be careful. Dekasura and Monster Stream in the other amusement park area have places to leave your sandals, so it's better to just keep your sandals on. The Showa-retro Ferris wheel gives you a view over all of Summerland.
View on Google15 minutes per loop of something out of the ordinary. Apparently it gets to people with a fear of heights! A luxurious 15 minutes of time flowing slowly by. Thank you!
View on GoogleRode it at night and the view was nice
View on GoogleAt 62m, it's bigger than the 40m-class ones at Tobu Zoo and German Village, and the same as Seibu Amusement Park's. Since it's set at the highest point, the field of view is wide, and if the weather's good you can enjoy a nice view. It's usually empty, but when I go occasionally it's often being prepared or under inspection, which is disappointing. Bad luck?
