Everyone was very kind, each plate was delicious, and the setting was beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect. Although it is pricey and there was no English menu, I’m sure anyone could enjoy the experience.

Nice food. Not really sure why we were not allowed to use the toilet inside the restaurant though! Was told ‘no, no no’’ and marched out to go to the public toilets down the street.

Went for a drive toward Akiruno🚗 Had lunch at 川波, facing the Akikawabashi riverside park BBQ area〜. It's a kappo restaurant, but during the warmer months you can enjoy a casual meal on the open deck. Ordered: ・天ぷら田舎そば (1400円) ・とろろ田舎そば (1300円) ・鮎背ごし造り (1430円) ・川釣り鮎塩焼き (990円). It was my first time eating segoshi-zukuri. The fish is sliced crosswise with the bones still in, so it was a new and really interesting texture🐟! The vinegared miso was refreshing and went so well〜. A lovely place that really lets you feel summer. The kappo entrance on the opposite side also looked luxurious and very beautiful. Thanks for the meal〜!

20260505 Visited right in the middle of Golden Week. First they said, “There will be a wait,” and indeed the wait was quite long. But the soba was firm and chewy and the dipping sauce sweetish, just my type. The tempura was properly delicious too. I'd like to come on a weekday.
