We stayed in Akiruno for 2 weeks and we were looking for a friendly izakaya. In a smaller city, as foreigners, we wanna be respectful to businesses as we know it can be awkward sometimes. We really enjoyed KAI! One server was super helpful as he spoke really good English! 😂 it took us by shock! We met a very friendly couple also. The food and drinks were great! It felt very welcoming. Thank you for having us!

The oshinko goes well with wine. The karaage is crispy and delicious. The stir-fried bean sprouts were a generous portion. When I ate the omusoba, there were noodles and rice under the omelet. A first-time taste experience. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The seating arrangement is unusual… maybe not quite suited to having food and drinks with coworkers… I ordered a stronger highball for my first order… but somehow it seemed like the usual strength… When I ordered another, it was noticeably stronger. I guess that's the kind of place this is… The karaage was delicious! But the best thing I ate that day was the potato salad served as the appetizer. It tasted good enough to put on the menu!

Dropped in for a post-gig celebration. Two of us arrived around 22:30 and got in without any trouble. The potato salad appetizer was shockingly delicious. The best potato salad I've ever had. Everything was delicious overall!

The food is pretty good 😊 Unexpectedly, right in front of the station There's a place where you can eat raw oysters 😊 The service... is this just normal these days? A little disappointing 😭 But seriously, the oysters are delicious 🤭
