I recently had a strong craving for chicken wings 🍗, so I visited this place with my daughter 😊 She absolutely loves their wings 🍗🍗 and had been asking to go again for a while. The restaurant is located just outside the west exit of Kitasenju Station 🚉. If you head to the left, you’ll find it in a slightly gritty, old-school drinking area 🍻. To be honest, the surroundings may feel a bit rough and not the cleanest at first glance 😅—but that’s part of its charm. It creates an authentic, unpretentious atmosphere where you can just relax and enjoy 🍺✨ Inside, the space is larger than expected, with both table and counter seating 🪑. It’s surprisingly family-friendly 👨👩👧, which made our visit comfortable even with my daughter. The highlight, of course, is their famous “phantom chicken wings” 🍗🔥. The flavor is outstanding—a perfect balance of their secret sauce and a punchy pepper seasoning 🌶️. The slight spiciness is addictive 🤤, and they pair incredibly well with beer 🍺🍗✨ You can even adjust the spice level, so my daughter was able to enjoy them too 👧🍗 Overall, while the area and exterior may feel a bit rough 😅, it all adds to the unique “Yamachan” experience 🍗🎉. If you’re looking for delicious wings 🍗🍗 in a casual setting with great value 💰, this is definitely a place worth visiting again 👍🍗
View on GoogleGreat pepper chicken wings. I had a great experience here. Great for hanging out and drinking out with friends. They also had great fried octopus. Decent food and drinks menu. English menu available. Not many tourists, and mostly locals come here. The staff did their best to provide service in English even though they don't speak much English.
View on GoogleThis is a shop where you can casually enjoy Nagoya's specialty chicken wings. The chicken wings, which are the signature menu, have a sweet and spicy seasoning with spices that become addictive, and the taste made me want to eat it again after trying it once. It goes very well with alcohol, and your hands won't stop. Close to the station, the access is good, so I'm happy that it's easy to use for coming home from work or eating with friends. Personally, not only the chicken wings, but the horse sashimi was also very delicious. There is a solid umami, and I was able to enjoy a different taste from the chicken wings. This is a shop recommended for those who want to taste Nagoya specialties, as well as those who want to enjoy meals casually while drinking alcohol.
View on GoogleA lively popular izakaya where you can casually enjoy Nagoya specialties A famous shop for Nagoya specialties located right near Kitasenju Station. Located in the drinking alley area, the atmosphere was easy to use for various scenes such as coming home from work or drinking with friends. The inside is spacious and lively, and the space is comfortable with the bustle typical of a popular izakaya. Since it is a relatively new store opened in 2024, the inside is also clean and easy to use. What cannot be missed is the famous phantom chicken wings. The outside is crispy and fragrant, the inside is juicy, and the secret spices work well. At first I thought it was a bit strong, but as I continued to eat, it became more and more addictive, and before I knew it, my hands were reaching out many times. Its compatibility with beer goes without saying. Although it has a strong taste typical of Nagoya cuisine, it is a deliciousness that can be eaten without getting tired of it mysteriously. In addition to chicken wings, there are plenty of Nagoya specialties such as miso kushi-katsu, dote-ni, and Taiwanese yakisoba, and the appeal is that you can enjoy various things with a feeling of traveling. If you go with a few people and eat while sharing, I think the satisfaction level is quite high. The serving of food was relatively smooth, and I was able to enjoy it with a good tempo. The price range is relatively reasonable, and even if you consider the location near the station, the impression is very easy to use. It is perfect for days when you want to drink casually or when you want to have fun with a large number of people. It is a shop that I think I want to visit again when I want to enjoy alcohol while eating delicious chicken wings in Kitasenju.
View on GoogleThey responded happily even when I entered earlier than the time reserved on Hot Pepper. In addition to the Nepalese staff, all the overseas staff are kind people! Especially the muscular male staff is the best‼️ The seats are also spacious, clean, and comfortable Yamachan! No need to go to Nagoya anymore😆
