First visit in 18 years. I ordered the ramen and half fried rice set, but judging by other people's photos, I didn't get the side pickles or the red pickled ginger on the half fried rice. I guess they cut corners depending on the customer. The ramen was on the oily side, hmm… not bad though. The fried rice was tasty. I was also curious about the yakiniku rice and other things, so next time.
View on Google(Posted/visited) 2025・2・5 Gomoku ramen (900 yen) Mapo tofu (700 yen) It seems to be run by a married couple. At first I hadn't planned to come here, but my plans changed so I quickly headed to this place I'd bookmarked. Gomoku ramen Wow, this one's pretty too. And it has crab meat. 👏👏😄 A first for a Chinese restaurant. The second since I started posting. Of course there's datemaki too. Kaiware is a first. As expected, the only vegetable is a little cabbage. Can't be helped. There's quite a lot of meat. The chashu is tender. Not my preference. The soup is just about within my taste. ⭐️4 Mapo tofu Oh, it looked good, but the saltiness came first and the spiciness was hard to notice. This also had a lot of meat and plenty of umami. ⭐️3.5 The interior is long and felt nice, but it's cluttered. The kitchen duct is pitch black with grease. The service from the proprietress also felt careless, which is a minus. But at checkout, it should have been 900 yen ➕ 700 yen 🟰 1600 yen, yet when I paid 2000 yen I got 500 yen? in change. ??? Did I make a mistake? Did the proprietress make a mistake? Or was it a freebie? On Wednesdays, ramen is a special 400 yen. Lots of people order it.
View on GoogleStamina ramen + half fried rice set 1,000 yen Visited on a weekday just past noon. 2 customers before me, 0 after. The interior is spacious, with 6 counter seats and 5 four-person tables. The staff is a two-person team: the owner in the kitchen and the proprietress on the floor. There's a menu on the table, but I picked a dish title from the menu posted on the shop's outer wall and ordered verbally; it was served about 6 minutes later. The stamina ramen is topped with pork belly, garlic chives, onion, and carrot stir-fried with a bold seasoning like a stamina-don. The amount of toppings is average, but it adds richness and goes really well with the generous base ramen soup—delicious! The noodles are thin and curly, and they pick up the soup well ◯. The half fried rice is a typical half portion, with the salt kept quite low. On its own it's bland, but paired with the ramen soup infused with the stamina toppings, it's just right and delicious! (Maybe they deliberately use less salt?) With the occasional refreshing bite of the ginger-topped hiyayakko and pickles that came with the set, I got pleasantly full and finished everything. They seem to offer quite a lot of takeout items, so it looks handy for people in the neighborhood. The set meals are a bit pricey, but the half fried rice sets and special menu items are reasonable. Ramen is cheaper every Wednesday, which is another nice point. It's clearly stated that smoking is OK, so be careful if you don't like smoke! Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleI had the chashu-men and tantan fried rice The old-fashioned, light shoyu-flavored chuka soba, with well-seasoned menma and long-simmered, melt-in-your-mouth chashu, was really delicious. The tantan fried rice was a bit spicy, with a high-level flavor. On top of being cheap and tasty, the owner was kind too, with service that makes you want to come back.
View on GoogleI'd been curious for a while, so today I went for the first time. The prices are very cheap, I think. It has an old-school neighborhood Chinese restaurant feel ⋆.* I had the negi ramen, and my husband had the 山久 ramen. We both ordered them as half fried rice sets. The portions are very filling. The flavor is gentle. The noodles are on the soft side, which I like. I think the owner couple are very nice people. The interior has a strong old-time feel and doesn't feel clean, so it might be hard to go in if that bothers you. It doesn't bother me that much, so I was fine. There are lots of ramen varieties, so I'll drop by again when I'm a little peckish.
