Very local place. The owners don’t speak much English, but they are extremely kind and patient, and the food is delicious!! Definitely try the seafood bowl; best bang for my buck I had in Japan!!

It seems to be read as Yamayoshi Sushi. This is a sushi shop with a veteran chef who is celebrating 50 years this year (2025). I think it's family-run. Contrary to the homey atmosphere, I was very satisfied with the abundant menu, reasonable prices, and above all, the meticulous work. I visited when the market was closed, but the ingredients served were thick, the wasabi and rice were also exquisite, and I enjoyed it very deliciously. This is not the modern sushi that is popular these days, but I could feel that they value Edo-mae style work from the knife skills and ingredients. The skills are certain. I will stop by again when I am nearby. I pray for your long success.

A sushi shop with reasonable prices and wonderful service from the landlady. There are about 5 types of Japanese sake, and you can enjoy Showa-style sushi with nigiri as a snack. Also, don't miss the fact that there are grilled hamaguri clams.

Ordered a light drunk set. The curing degree of saba (almost raw) in the mixed sashimi was outstanding, and I liked it very much. This is a shop with regulars, but the landlady is a cheerful person, so it's not bad to feel comfortable even for the first time. This is a shop I want to visit again. The otoshi is a seafood salad for 500 yen.

Ate wonderfully, with the sweetest hostess. Very welcoming people who made us feel at ease right away, even with our poor Japanese. Definitely recommended for everyone! If I could give more stars, I would have!
