I was wandering around Ayase and stopped in here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I do speak mostly english, but ordering was easy with the tablet. The food came out pretty quick and tasted great. Plus, I got to speak to a couple locals who were very friendly. Definitely one of my favorite places that I'd stopped on my trip, would go back again for sure!

They also offer a lunch menu at a reasonable price, with Japanese set meals for under 1,000 yen. While many people come here mainly to drink, the food is available and enjoyable for anyone. There is also a dedicated smoking area

Revisit April 2024 Went drinking today, and in particular ordered the nira-tama (chive and egg) It looks ordinary at first glance, but it was cooked in heavily overused oil, so I felt sick the moment I ate it. When I looked into the kitchen, instead of the usual older guy, a large, younger person I'd never seen before was doing the cooking, and I thought, what a terrible person they've put in charge of cooking. From now on I'll make a point of checking who's cooking in the kitchen before going in. Everyone, please be careful too. It's been a while since I was served such awful food, so I'm sharing this with everyone. By the way, it was also overcooked. That's all. My previous post is below. I come here for daytime drinking. Prices are low overall. The tricky part is ordering: you have to tap the items you want with a touch pen and then press the order button. At first, ask the staff!

The yakitori is tasty. Cheap. The staff seem like nice people
