We enjoyed a nice pasta lunch set (soup and salad), with a side of their homemade sausage. As the desserts looked great and the combo (with a drink) price was a low, we closed with coffee, a pannacotta and a slice of dried fruit pound cake. Everything was so tasty that we also asked for the dinner menu. Looks like we will put this on our short list.

View on GoogleHad lunch in Kitasenju on a weekday. This time I ordered the bowl set. The salad and soup served first were simple but carefully made, building up anticipation for the meal. The main bowl had avocado, bacon, and plenty of vegetables, with nori and sesame as accents — a dish blending Japanese and Western flavors in good balance. It was colorful, with plenty of volume, and very satisfying. The interior had a calm, comfortable atmosphere, so I could enjoy lunch at a leisurely pace. They also accept PayPay, which is convenient. A recommended, easygoing lunch spot in Kitasenju. Next time I'd like to try it for an evening drinking party too.
View on GoogleStylish lunch in the Kitasenju area Tomato sauce pasta (1,070 yen)🍝 I came because I wanted something that wasn't heavy and a place where I could linger over lunch. The appetizer salad's dressing and the bouillon soup were tasty. The pasta was thin noodles, safely delicious. I usually eat a lot of ramen and rich, heavy food, so it felt lighter than I expected lol The sauce didn't seem to cling to the noodles as much as I thought it would? (sorry for my ignorance) Next time I think I'll try the aglio olio. The atmosphere was really nice, and I thought it'd be easy to use for both lunch and dinner!
View on GoogleSalad → lettuce and a little mizuna with garlic dressing. Soup → a light tomato base with plenty of clams and chunky vegetables, a surprisingly unusual-tasting soup, but the bean sprouts suddenly make it feel cheap; still, a decently tasty soup. Pasta → pasta with mentaiko and tiny, watery frozen squid. The flavor didn't bring out the squid or mentaiko at all; all that spread through my mouth was saltiness, chili heat, and the taste of nori. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed by the look first, and after eating it I was even more disappointed than by the look. The noodles were also thin and the portion small, so I didn't get full; unless you're a light eater, I think you'll end up ordering a large portion (extra charge) or eating another dish somewhere else. The interior is surprisingly spacious toward the back with lots of table seats, so it feels like you can relax. The staff were polite and offered to refill my water. Lunch wine and beer are cheap, so it might work for daytime drinking or as a café substitute.
