It was an excellent day and the place is absolutely beautiful
View on GoogleThe best free attraction🥳 Sledding this fun, and it's free! I went on a weekday, so I slid down over and over and over! So much fun🤗 Dragging your own sled up the slope and then zooming down is spectacular🥳 But……… There's basically zero supervision, so be careful🤨 They say things verbally like kids in elementary school or younger should slide with a parent, or don't slide on the steeper side, but they just hang around the monitoring hut killing time😑 Even when kids crash into each other they act like they didn't see (-_-;) Maybe because it's hot, they don't come out of the hut's shade. Easy job, huh😑😑😑 It's fine, better than being nagged at🥱 But still, there are 3 of them for no reason, so instead of taking a 1-hour lunch break, I wish they'd keep it running straight through😤 If they were properly inspecting the grounds I'd get it, but if it's just a meal break, they could just take turns🤬 Not everyone eats lunch at 12, you know😡 I hate this kind of bureaucratic mentality😑 If it weren't for that, it'd be an easy ☆5🤩 A precious facility I wish was closer to my home! There's no shade at all and the artificial turf reflects the heat, so it's insanely hot—watch out for heatstroke🤗 【Visit dates: May and June 2023】
View on GoogleWe went right at the start of the afternoon on a Sunday—1 parent with a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old—and had a fun time sledding. There are a few points to note, so I'll share them. -You don't need to bring a sled. (Bringing your own is not allowed) -On weekends and holidays it's a numbered-ticket system, and for the session starting at 13:00, people who received their tickets before noon get to start first. -Kids from age 3 through elementary school can sled -On the day we went there were spare sleds, but even so, repeating get sled → slide → return sled every 10 minutes is pretty inefficient. -Preschoolers need to slide with a guardian, and kids can't slide together with each other -If one adult brings two little ones, the parent has to do a lot of climbing -Facing the slope, the left side is gentle and the right is a slightly steep slope -The staff guys are a bit confrontational (to put it nicely, Adachi charm) The sledding itself is great, but the key is figuring out how to handle the guys. The numbered-ticket guy, even when it's empty, asks the mysterious question 'What time do you want?' Answer that you want to slide right away. When asked 'How many?', answer how many kids of what age, and how many guardians. Even if he tells you somewhat irritably 'We can only lend one sled,' answer 'That's OK☺️'. Tell the sled guy the number of sleds and, if needed, the number of people again, and get your sled. After all that, once you get in, time's up after about 4 runs. Since there are spare sleds, couldn't they set up some kind of system to extend the time?
View on GoogleI never expected they'd lend you sleds for free! It seems to be 10-minute rotations, with a 1-hour lunch break from 12. The kids had fun too, and the 10 minutes flew by!
View on GoogleYou need a numbered ticket, and it's tough being stuck between holding back my kid's wanting to do it right now and them losing interest a few hours later,, Isn't there a better way to run this,,
