Tanaka famous for their Soba ! Texture and taste of soba is different from those i get back home. Its hard & chewy , when eaten hot or cold its still does not soften. The Soba here also does not appear to be dark in color. I had mine set with Tempura, chawamushi, dessert JPY1,950

Very relaxing environment and their cool soba in the summertime is best during lunchtime. Reminded of a restaurant in Japan town in San Francisco.

Soba and udon places are convenient, so I picture them as always bustling with lots of people. It's nice that there's a large parking lot too. The tatami seating uses a touch panel, while at the table seats you call the staff. Serving speed is no problem, but the fried octopus and mini seiro (even if they're called mini…) are quite small. A bit more volume would make me even happier. The all-important soba flavor is a bit light, soba that's easy for anyone to eat. But I prefer it with a bit more of the natural buckwheat flavor. The tempura included lots of seasonal items and was delicious. Especially the shrimp! Thank you for the meal.
