sister shop to the popular Lai Kanok nearby. they have an identical menu, at least for lunch, and the quality is top notch as you can expect. i wish they have a full size tom yum soup with customizable spice level because the default is too small and not spicy enough. in fact, portion size is a problem i have with both restaurants with the pad krapao , it always feels like it could do woth 20% more

View on GoogleThai food that's properly spicy, yet really delicious A sister shop of Lai Kanok, a famous restaurant in Kitasenju Since it's a bit of a walk from the station, it's less crowded than Lai Kanok, which always has a line. The flavors have accents, aren't bland, and have real contrast — whatever you eat tastes delicious. Since it's properly spicy, the drinks go down easily too. They have Singha on draft and Mekhong Thai whiskey, a lineup of drinks that go well with Thai food. You can't take home leftovers from eating in, but it seems they do takeout and Uber, etc. The staff's service is polite too; recommended for when you want to eat delicious Thai food.

Enjoy authentic flavors crafted by a Thai-born chef in a space with an exotic atmosphere! Benjarong, which takes pride in dishes made by a Thai-born chef that recreate authentic Thai spiciness, opened a few years ago as a sister shop of "Lai Kanok," which is popular in Kitasenju and has even been featured on Kodoku no Gurume. A wide range of dishes, including khao soi rich with coconut milk and fried fish stir-fried in red curry. Authentic dishes like chicken green curry are great◎ at lunch too. You can enjoy them with a variety of drinks, including Thai beer. While I was looking at the menu board outside, trying to decide what to get for lunch, a rather pretty Thai woman came out of the shop and said, "Come on in~." I ignored it for a moment and went back to deliberating, and then a kind-looking Thai grandma came out of the shop and said, "Come on in~." No more time to browse at leisure — I had no choice but to go in ( ꒪⌓꒪)💦 Pork and eggplant stir-fry rice (with soup) 935 yen Tom yum kung soup 462 yen is what I ordered. I asked for the pork and eggplant stir-fry rice to be made spicier when ordering. But it still wasn't that spicy (lol). The Thai rice is dry, but the spicy sweet-savory seasoning typical of Thai food is good, and there's plenty of sauce, so you don't mind it. The tom yum kung soup tasted as excellent as you'd expect. The straw mushrooms, shrimp, and cilantro were refreshing too. I'd only looked at what to order and hadn't read the menu properly, so there was also the blunder of the vegetable soup that came with the pork and eggplant stir-fry rice arriving as well (eh It was delicious, thanks for the meal☺️ Instagram @nozy_lifestyle
