Really enjoyed my first meal in Japan. A simple but authentic standing soba spot with a very local Tokyo atmosphere. The soba was fresh, the broth was rich and comforting, and the tempura paired perfectly with it. Fast service, affordable prices, and great for a quick meal any time of the day, definitely worth trying.

I am Tokyo Bocchi who goes around eating delicious food in Tokyo. Hearing that I could eat unique soba, I came to this shop. The location is a 10-second walk from Umejima Station. I thought it was standing soba, but there are tables and you can sit. There is an appeal not found elsewhere because you can choose the type of soba, I want to eat everything and know the difference. Immediately ordered bacon soba, there is also Schauessen soba, this is for next time. As the name suggests, soba with bacon on top. The saltiness of the bacon surprisingly goes well with soba! Located in a small alley right after exiting the North Exit of Umejima Station, because it's not the main street, it's a soba shop with an atmosphere known only to those who know. A shop that feels like it's between the casualness of standing soba and an authentic soba shop, although it's small, there are three types of soba, and there are many types of tempura toppings, so it seems you won't get bored even if you come every day. I forgot to take a picture, but I ordered a set of tempura soba and a small curry bowl. Because I chose thick country-style soba, I was full. Tempura is small in size because the price is cheap, but if you think you can enjoy various ways, it's a good deal.
