It's a standing-soba type place, but you can sit down and eat normally. The interior is spacious, with table seats and counter-style seats at tables facing the wall. I wonder if the corridor-like area in the back is a standing space? ・Ordered tempura soba Here they fry the tempura after you order, so it takes a little time. I'd heard that instead of using commercial soba broth as is, they properly make their own dashi, and when you taste it you can tell the difference. The tempura is freshly fried, crispy, and delicious. I had a satisfying bowl.

I visited "そばの陣" in Nishiarai just before noon. This time I ordered hot tempura soba with spinach as a topping. What surprised me first was the aroma and texture of the soba! The noodles are thin but have a firm chew, and they go perfectly with the broth. The dashi is gentle yet full of umami, so good you want to drink it to the last drop. The tempura was freshly fried and crispy, with a light batter that wasn't greasy at all, bringing out the natural sweetness of the shrimp and vegetables. The spinach topping was a nice accent too, and the overall balance was excellent. The interior has a calm atmosphere, is clean, and was a comfortable space. The staff were attentive, so I could enjoy my meal pleasantly. I'm really happy to have such a delicious soba shop in the neighborhood. I'd like to try other menu items too. Next time I want to try the cold soba. Thanks for the meal.

Second noodle visit since March I think last time I had the katsudon set This time, simply the shungiku tempura soba (540 yen) You buy a meal ticket from the vending machine in front of the entrance and hand it over at the serving counter inside You're called by your ticket number and receive the soba on a tray Beautiful strands of noodles are visible through the clear broth One sip and the dashi flavor spreads softly in your mouth—very tasty The smooth soba goes down gently and is delicious The thick chopped shungiku tempura releases the shungiku flavor when you bite into it, with a nice crispy texture There aren't many kinds of tempura, but each one is high quality Thanks for the meal

This standing soba shop is near the rotary at the west exit of Nishiarai Station on the Tobu Line. The tempura soba made by the friendly staff looks small at first glance, but it's surprisingly filling. Also, it seems you can have a drink in the morning too😲
