Great museum with amazing exhibitions. It would be useful to add some information in foreign languages too.
View on GoogleNear Senju-Ohashi Station. A building with a hexagonal roof. They were holding a Chinese ceramics exhibition. The inside is built like a ramp, a stylish design. You kind of go around a full loop and end up back at the entrance. There doesn't seem to be a permanent exhibition. Unfortunately the café is weekdays only, so I couldn't go in. Admission is 500 yen. Free for ages 65 and over.
View on GoogleFirst time visiting Inside the museum, it was a space where you circle around in a spiral to view the works The lighting illuminating the works in the dim interior was effective (No photography inside the museum)
View on GoogleI saw the Islamic ceramics exhibition. I was simply in awe of the wonderful collection. Maybe because it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded and I could take my time looking at the works. The design with no stairs, making it easy to walk around, is also nice.

I planned to drop by on the way back from the nearby Hashido Inari Shrine, but my companion said they didn't want to go in, and I didn't want to make them wait, so I only looked around the outside. The building has an unusual design too, and it was well worth seeing. Next time I'd like to go in on my own.
