My most favourite Shumai meet ball here since I was a kid. Thank you, Seika for still existing!
View on GoogleI was drawn in by someone's lovely review ✍️ 『中国料理正華 花畑店』 I copied them, thanks a bunch 🙏 “正華”, about a 25-minute walk from Yatsuka Station Just from the vibe of the storefront, you know it's a sure thing 🫣 Inside, 正華 is surprisingly spacious 😮 I even sensed a cleanliness you wouldn't expect from a neighborhood chuka joint 😳 (no offense) The tables are all lined up nice and neatly too 👏 If the TV had been a box-type, it would've been perfect 📺 (Showa era) My order was 蝦仁焼飯 (ebi yakimeshi), and nothing else 🦐 I did agonize for a moment over the huge menu, typical of a neighborhood chuka place 😮💨 But I'd made up my mind that I was absolutely having 蝦仁焼飯 that day, so I stuck to my original plan 😤 We happily shared one plate of gyoza 😋 Packed tight and juicy inside, with chewy skin 🥟 Freshly grilled too, what a blessing 🥺 The juiciness of the meat and the tang of the vinegar were nicely balanced, delicious 🥟 Man, this is definitely forbidden-beer-in-broad-daylight territory 😮💨 He's a young guy who can't really handle alcohol, so I went alcohol-free that day too 🙅♀️ A day in the life of a devoted girl 🫣 And then, the long-awaited 蝦仁焼飯 🦐 First off, the shrimp are as plump and bouncy as can be 🥺 The springy shrimp meat literally bursts, just like the word says 👏 Irresistible, it's delicious no matter how you eat it 😋 And then, “so rich you could eat plain rice with the fried rice as a side dish” That phrase sums it up perfectly 😆 I came to 正華 drawn by that phrase, and it was more than worth it 🥺 Probably a local drops in on a whim, says “the usual,” and takes a seat. They get chatting with the owner about nothing in particular and laugh out loud together. The day's news plays from the TV in a stiff monotone. From the kitchen come energetic voices and the sound of the wok being tossed. I really think this is exactly what's great about neighborhood chuka places 😊 Beer with zha cai as a snack would be delicious forever, and I bet the closing ramen is delicious enough to fill you to the core 🍜 My time there made me feel that the scenes and flavors unchanged since the old days will surely keep flowing on at 正華 ♬ I hope it never disappears and stays here forever 🙏 I'll definitely come again 😋 Thank you for the meal 😋
View on GoogleI went to 正華, located in the middle of the Hanahata housing complex. By train, it's about 20 minutes by bus from Takenotsuka, I think. My first visit in a while. When I came a little while ago I thought the taste had gone downhill, but this time it was back to the good old nostalgic 正華 flavor. Maybe it changes depending on who's cooking. The gomoku soba here really is delicious. The noodles are coated in a slightly sweet ankake sauce, and the soup feels gentle on the body, so I can't help drinking it all. The set meals are also hearty and tasty. In the cold season, I recommend the anman for takeout. It's packed with smooth red bean paste and addictive. Barrier-free and wheelchair-friendly. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI looked this place up because I was craving shrimp fried rice, and just as I'd hoped, it was a beautiful-looking fried rice loaded with ingredients. Looks like they stir-fry the shrimp properly separately too. You can't get fried rice of this quality around here, it's a must-eat.
View on Google正華, a neighborhood chuka spot that's a branch of the original (noren-wake). Honestly, everything on the menu looks so good it's hard to choose. This time it seemed you could get the gomoku soba with a half fried rice for 360円+税, so I went with the half fried rice. The gomoku soba had both ham and pork, plenty of vegetables, and was very tasty. The half fried rice was also loaded with ingredients and delicious. The family next to us ordered nikuman, which looked delicious. They have a great range of ramen, rice dishes, and dim sum, so next time I'll come back and agonize over the choices again. Parking seems to be behind the restaurant.
