I've rarely come across a place this awful. I made it clear before going in that I was just there for a meal, but the old guy & woman in the kitchen were muttering about what a pain it was and whatever else, which felt awful👎 I told them not to bother cooking and left, but it was nothing but unpleasant. What the hell do you mean, "めしや"? What a joke Not worth even a ⭐️‼️

Visited again after a long time. I ordered the めしや定食. Today it was salt-grilled mackerel. The rice comes in an ohitsu tub (lol). The miso soup was delicious, and I ended up getting another rice set. Affordable and filling. I'll visit again.

The set meals come with rice in an ohitsu tub. Until 2～3 years ago, the sashimi was fresh and delicious too. Lately it's just saury set meals, and the taste is average. The sashimi platters have become stingy too. Disappointing

The best late-night diner in the neighborhood, visited night after night by hostesses who work nights. Be warned: even a large serving for one comes with white rice in an ohitsu tub. The food is delicious, but the seasoning is strong because it caters to drinkers. Definitely coming back, no parking

The food is good, but the older woman's service is awful. It's open late and I liked the ohitsu rice, but it leaves me feeling unpleasant, so I won't go again.
