A family restaurant close to the Nishirai station. I had carry for 600yen and it was really good!
View on GoogleAn old-fashioned soba shop near Nishiarai Station. At lunchtime, local office workers and quite a few young people come too; it's a shop that's become part of the neighborhood. Prices are going up so it must be tough, but the set menus that fit within a single bill are easy on the wallet. The curry bowl in the set is so fragrant and thick that there's more broth than anything. This is just how it should be.
View on GoogleChilled tanuki (soba): 850 yen The soba is thin but has a firm chew—delicious!! Are the tempura bits homemade? Too bad they were slightly oxidized・・・ The soba dipping sauce wasn't very sweet, a flavor I personally like. Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleIt was delicious. The hot soba is a bit strongly flavored? but good.
View on GoogleVisited on a holiday just after 1 PM (13:00); the tables and raised tatami area seemed about 80% full. One of the tables apparently is used for the register. It seems to have a lot of locals. The recommendation is apparently the mini katsudon and morisoba set featured on 火曜サプライズ, but I wanted tempura, so I ordered the tenzaru. Maybe they were swamped with orders, as I waited a while. White soba, with shrimp, eggplant, and some kind of leaf as tempura. Piping hot and freshly fried, it whets your appetite. As I was finishing, they brought me sobayu. It was decent.
