Since there was a faint animal smell around here, I thought this shop was a tonkotsu shop, but I didn't have a chance to stop by, so this time I had a chance and I visited. The smell that could be smelled even just by parking the car in front of the shop. Since there is no parking lot nearby, I tried to park and enter, but there was a sign saying there is a parking lot at the entrance. When I checked, there were 2 spaces behind the shop. A very narrow parking lot where it is difficult to enter because many residents' bicycles are parked from the parking lot entrance. The parking space was also quite tight, but somehow I was able to park and pass through the passage in the back to exit to the shop side. I entered and sat at the counter. My impression when looking at the menu pasted on the wall and the menu in hand was, the shop is hot! The air conditioning is almost not working and it's hot. I want a ramen shop in summer to turn on the air conditioning, and I realized that the smell that was smelled in front of the shop is slightly different from the so-called tonkotsu smell, it is an animal smell. Since it is the first time, I ordered Maruichi Ramen named after the shop and char siu rice. There are 2 types of noodles and a selection system. Medium egg noodles and thin Hakata noodles. Char siu rice meat is soft and the strong seasoning is also to my taste. Maruichi Ramen is a little different from emulsified tonkotsu soup. When I drank it once, it was quite oily and the taste had a punch. The feeling of the soup is not like a white tonkotsu soup, but like a cloudy soy sauce ramen and a very hot soup. Because there is a lot of oil, it is hard to cool down. While feeling "I've eaten this taste somewhere", I couldn't remember it. There are wood ear mushrooms (kikurage) and others, and the appearance is like tonkotsu ramen. Two types of char siu and pork belly char siu toppings and boiled egg. I enjoyed it while changing the taste with spicy bean sprouts and mustard takana on the table. The shop is quite old and cannot be said to be clean, but I thought it might be better to wash or wipe the seasonings on the table cleanly. That alone would change the impression significantly. And the shop is hot, so I don't feel like going in the summer.
View on GoogleI came again after a long time. When I came after a long time, it felt like the cleanliness inside the shop was lacking. I chose tonkotsu ramen and cold tantanmen‼️ Tonkotsu ramen is a very thick soy sauce tonkotsu ramen. Cold tantanmen was surprisingly delicious when I ate it without expectations~ The spiciness is lacking but the noodles are many and satisfying. Parking lot was secured 2 spaces at the apartment! This is a ramen shop for people who like thick flavors! If the inside of the shop was a little cleaner, I could raise the stars, but... I think it's difficult for people who don't like the tonkotsu smell.
View on GoogleHonestly, I don't even want to give it one star. The environment inside the shop is very bad. From the appearance of the shop, I initially thought, "Is this an old but delicious shop?", so I was interested and came. After entering the shop (is this okay...), the smell was quite strong and honestly, if you imagine being inside a cow shed, it's a terrible smell. It's a foul smell. A Chinese woman from the back said "Welcome" and took me to a seat, and when I asked if there was a menu other than tonkotsu or if there was an orthodox soy sauce ramen, she explained quickly (because she speaks fast, the language is also broken) and I didn't understand. Anyway, my interpretation is that everything is tonkotsu-based. The serving after receiving the order was fast and the taste is... Honestly, although I ordered Hakata Tonkotsu, the impression was overturned. Isn't it rude to the real Hakata? The taste is different, only the garlic is strong, too salty without depth, and the thick one is a smell that is too rotten. The soup cannot go to the second bite, worst! The texture is worst! My partner ordered tsukemen for the better one, but this is also not the original tsukemen. The egg topping that was served was rotten and he said he couldn't eat it anymore after one bite. I tried one bite but I refused and couldn't. When I told the shop person about the egg, they said "Should I bring out a new egg?", but that's not the problem, right? There was no "Sorry" apology. This shop's reviews might be because there are regular customers, so people's tastes are different. We felt very uncomfortable to the point that I don't even want to pay a thousand yen.
View on GoogleHah!? Hah~!? This is... "Maruichi" located in Kashihama, Adachi-ku, Tokyo. It is a tonkotsu back fat ramen shop. It is a back fat ramen shop, but basically it seems to be Hakata ramen, and the owner respects and reproduces a Hakata ramen shop commonly known as "Aka-noren" (the real shop name seems to have been "Maruichi"), and was further influenced by the Kan-nana series back fat ramen shops, and it seems that such things were mixed and became what it is now. The order is a char siu bowl set 790 yen. Cheap... This is a set menu of soy sauce ramen and char siu bowl. If it were a normal shop, they would charge about 1050 yen for ramen and char siu bowl. Even if it were a lunch service set, it would be 980 yen. It is this price all day long. Wonderful. The meaning of "Hah!?" at the beginning is because the moment I ate it, "Tosakko" which was at the center of the Kan-nana ramen war in the 80s and 90s immediately came back to my head. Until now, no matter which Tosakko remnant shop (franchise or shop of people involved) I ate, I couldn't quite remember the Tosakko ramen at that time. Actually, I always felt "Did it taste like this...?". If I had to say, I felt "Shimogashira-bashi Ramen" in Itabashi was the closest. However, I was really surprised that at this ramen shop "Maruichi", which has no connection or relation, I instantly remembered Tosakko ramen. The feeling of back fat floating on the surface of the soup, the mix of kaeshi and tonkotsu broth, especially the taste and aroma of the kaeshi that collected at the bottom... perfect. Parking a car or motorcycle on Kan-nana in the dark night and hurriedly waiting came back as if it were yesterday. The soup is a cloudy white tonkotsu soup. A thick, rich soup boiled slowly until the bone marrow dissolves. Back fat that dissolves easily floats there. I could choose Chinese noodles or Hakata noodles. Both seem to be low-water noodles... Chinese noodles seem to be a little thicker and softer. (The person next to me was talking that Chinese noodles used to be egg noodles) (I chose Chinese noodles). Char siu is a soft, melting char siu. The size is not very big. But delicious. The rest is bamboo shoots and sliced green onions. The char siu bowl was a simple and modest bowl, but as a 790 yen set content, it was enough. It wasn't bad. By the way, among the Sendagaya Hope-ken series, the only one that always gave me heartburn every time... and I suffered in the middle of the night... and couldn't sleep was "Tosakko". *Personal constitution. That intense back fat ramen at that time was inherited here quietly. I felt like I was in Jurassic Park. Of course... even after eating Maruichi, heartburn came four or five hours later and I suffered. (Laughs) *I say it many times, personal constitution. For some reason, even that is inherited faithfully. Here. In the past, no matter how many times I got heartburn, I didn't learn and queued to eat. Fans of back fat ramen of yesteryear, or those who used to queue at Tosakko with colored chopsticks, please visit. Maybe you will think "Wow~ this is it!". However, for those who tend to get heartburn, be careful. You will definitely be hit~ (Laughs)
View on GoogleFirst visit a few days ago. Have been curious for a while. First entered, ticket machine broken. Inside the shop is dirty, many menu pops. It feels calm. Ordered service set. Tonkotsu ramen and salt char siu bowl came. Impression of ramen, first from the color of the appearance, I felt the amount of bones was small, so the taste was also thin pork taste, and I felt it was covered up with salt. I could think it was delicious by using the seasonings on the table fully. Salt char siu bowl. The salt sauce on the char siu was too salty and I was surprised. Maybe dried plum level. If you eat ramen here while dead drunk, it might feel delicious, but the basic salt taste is very strong. The atmosphere of the shop and the owner can be liked, but the taste was not very much to my liking.
