I love monja, but this place is disappointing. There is no dashi in the monja, it's just flour mixed with water, so it has no taste... Furthermore, there are posts saying the iron plate is shiny, but it's a thin silver iron plate. It just burns, and you can't scrape it off with a spatula to eat it. The iron plate is burnt and you can't even eat the scorched part. You can't even remove the burnt bits to cook the next monja... I can't recommend it to monja lovers.

I'm visiting because I felt like eating monja. This time, for the first time, I had tanuki monja. It's a yes. I liked it better than the ones with various things in it.

I went for the first time after the renewal, but Mangetsu is still relaxing. Even though it's new, the atmosphere is the same, which makes me happy as a regular. This time, I ordered 'Taco Monja' for the first time in a while. The combination of spicy minced meat and melting cheese is addictive. It's also great to pick at the parts that are crispy on the iron plate! It went perfectly with beer. As expected, I never get tired of Mangetsu's monja no matter how many times I eat it. Next time, I want to invite my friends and enjoy it with a banquet course.
