Get the udon instead of the soba! Everything is carefully handmade but texture of udon is especially good. The tempura was nicely done, like the fishcake and ebi tempura

One of the best local soba restaurants I’ve been to in Japan. Great food with nice local vibe. Really worth a visit if you’re nearby.

I visited for lunch and ordered the motsuni set(1,400円)from the lunchtime specials. The main motsu nikomi is the real deal, served in an iron pot. Daikon, burdock, konnyaku, and other root vegetables were cut into large, chunky pieces, and I was surprised by how thoroughly the flavor had soaked into every one. The star ingredient, the offal, was extremely tender, carefully stewed, and very delicious! Besides soba, the set includes rice, a small side dish, and even pickles, so it's very filling and highly satisfying. The combination of smooth soba, rich and strongly flavored motsu nikomi, and white rice is unbeatable. The old-fashioned atmosphere inside was comfortable too, leaving both my stomach and heart fully satisfied. I'd definitely like to return when I'm craving delicious motsuni and soba.

At 小松庵 along Kannana Kita-dori, I had the lunch-only soba and ebi katsudon set(1400円). The soba was silky and went down smoothly, and the ebi katsudon, which I tried for the first time, had springy, plump prawns and was truly delicious! I recommend it for a very satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal! I visited Komatsuan along Kannana Kita-dori. I had the lunch-exclusive Soba and Prawn Cutlet Bowl set for 1,400 yen. The soba noodles were smooth and delicious, and the prawn cutlet, which I tried for the first time, had wonderfully plump prawns! It was a very satisfying lunch, and I highly recommend it. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
