Lovely cafe with a friendly Shiba Inu dog 🐶 Great place for a date or solo afternoon tea ☕️ We enjoyed the fall, seasonal plate. One savory dish with 3 sweets. 😋 ⚡️Need to reserve ahead of time. Easiest way is messaging the cafe via Instagram. Definitely coming back again ~

I dressed up and came all this way specifically to see the famous cute dog and enjoy a dessert. I arrived at 2:19 PM, well before the 3:00 PM closing time, but the place was already shut down. It’s a shame the management doesn’t respect their customers' time as much as they (hopefully) care for the dog. Total waste of a trip

Revisited on a snowy day in February 2026. Surrounded by a world of handmade goods, you can leisurely enjoy carefully made sweets together with a Shiba Inu. Advance reservation via Instagram DM is a must! The female manager is gentle and easy to talk to. Fri, Sat, Sun 9:00〜14:00. Cash only. 7-minute walk from Gotanno Station on the Tobu Skytree Line. Small strawberry parfait 2,000 yen. Tea 500 yen. ○Reservation (required) Check the current menu on the shop's Instagram. Via Instagram DM, tell them in advance the number of people (up to 2), your preferred date and time, and the food menu item. Once you get an OK reply, your reservation is done. Regular drinks can be chosen on the day. I've also gone without a reservation, but even though no one was there, they explained it was full with reservations and I couldn't get in. ○Inside Seating is about 2 tables for 2. Fox goods, handmade knick-knacks, dried flowers, foreign books—a whole world is carefully built into the small shop. Just looking around is fun. And every now and then the Shiba Inu 千代丸くん slowly walks around. In winter he was sleeping in front of the heater. He's calm, but he sometimes climbs onto the seats, so be careful if you're not comfortable with dogs. ○Sweets Cakes and mini parfaits that look cute too. Since they're elaborately made, the prices are on the higher side. I think the strawberry sweets are especially good, so I aimed for the strawberry menu season around December〜April. In December, the Christmas plate was around 3,000 yen, which was pricey so I gave up. I went in February and the small strawberry parfait was 2,000 yen. In the glass is the strawberry fairy ショコラッテちゃん, super cute♡ The ice cream on top was delicious too. For menu items without ショコラッテちゃん, you can sometimes add one for 240 yen. ○Drinks They had various kinds of tea. I ordered Snowdrop. 500 yen. I couldn't tell how it differed from other teas. The yarn bunny tea cozy was cute and heartwarming. ○November 2024 Had the apple scone parfait 1,390 yen and Earl Grey tea 500 yen. 千代丸くん was awake too.

🌰きつね堂 🌰 *Japanese chestnut meringue roulade* *Sweet potato brûlée ice cream* 🌰 The Japanese chestnut meringue roulade is big! Packed with Japanese chestnuts and it goes perfectly with the meringue✨ Sooo delicious♡ I really love the sweet potato brûlée too🍠 A sweet potato brûlée topped with ice cream is just the best😍 The cute little roasted sweet potato, when I gave it to my daughter, was gone in no time🥰 Maybe she loves sweet potatoes like me😚 The last time I visited きつね堂 was once right after they opened, so it's been over 4 years! Still a lovely shop♡ Their mascot dog 千代丸くん was way too cute too✨ 🌰
