Ordered sazae tsuboyaki (turban shell grilled in its shell) and oysters. That day you could choose between rock oysters and Pacific oysters. Overall it was delicious. The price is maybe a little higher than shitamachi (old downtown) prices? But the taishō (head chef) was pleasant too, so I recommend it.

First time at this place. It was payday, so I wanted to hop between sushi restaurants, and went to one I'd never been to. In a nice atmosphere with lots of regulars, I had a few pieces of sashimi. They have some good sake brands too, so you can drink properly (lol) Since it was my first time I ended up just testing the waters, but I want to go again next payday

A sushi restaurant that's been under the railway tracks for a long time. It had a very hard-to-walk-into vibe, but once inside it was a homey sushi restaurant. The menu is simple too, exactly like an old-time sushi restaurant. Drinking bottled beer, with sunomono and shirayaki…. That alone was totally satisfying. To finish, toro-taku and nigiri. The value for money is by no means good, but I guess there are lots of regulars because you can eat and drink with peace of mind. Thank you for the meal.

The tuna neta are big and delicious. The rice wasn't too big or too small, just right. This photo is the tokujō (premium) sushi.
