Tasty, great price, quick to serve!

Takeout gapao/curry that I was curious about. Since it's my first time, I chose the Monsoon Combo (100g) ¥890- where you can enjoy both gapao and curry. You can choose the type of curry, but since it's my first time, I chose medium spicy. There is a spice (chili?) included for gapao. The rice is indica rice. Gapao is not spicy, so even kids can eat it. It seems the style is to adjust the spiciness to your liking with the included spices. The medium spicy curry lacked spiciness, so next time I will try the spicy yellow. I thought this is a reasonably priced shop, with limited-time menus and budget-friendly daily lunch boxes starting from ¥590.

The curry & gapao rice specialty takeout shop 'Yellow Curry & Gapao' is located about 1.2 km from the East Exit of JR Ayase Station. If from the North Exit of JR Kameari Station it's about 1.5 km, and from the South Exit of Tokyo Metro Kita-Ayase Station it's about 1.1 km. What I mean is that it is located in the middle of the Ayase, Kameari, and Kita-Ayase station triangle, and is in an inconvenient location from any station. When I visited around 13:00 on a weekday, it was located across from the Koshiji Main Cake Shop, with impressive brown walls and orange shop tents. On the wall is written 'Takeout specialty Yellow Curry Gapao Rice'. Three flags with 'TAKE OUT Curry, Takeout specialty shop, Can reserve by phone TAKE OUT!!' written on them are fluttering in the wind. There was 1 previous customer standing in front of the shop. On the menu posted on the wall are Fried Chicken Curry 490 yen, Monsoon Combo (Gapao Rice & Curry) 630 yen, Oriental Combo (Gapao Rice & 2 Fried Chicken & Curry) 730 yen, Gapao Rice 490 yen, Vegetable and Fried Chicken Curry 640 yen, Ethnic Combo (Gapao Rice & Vegetable Curry) 780 yen, Vegetable Curry 490 yen, 'You are my friend' Special Curry Set (Gapao & Vegetable Curry & 3 Fried Chicken) 980 yen, etc. Curry can be chosen from sweet, medium spicy, spicy Tom Yum, slightly spicy, spicy yellow, spicy green. *Fried Chicken Curry 490 yen. Fried chicken, rice, pickles, curry, I chose slightly spicy. The rice is long-grain rice and authentic. There are 3 fried chicken pieces and the volume is full. The curry is a thin type and has plenty of ingredients. Although the location is inconvenient, this quality for one coin is amazing. I've been curious for a long time, but today I used paid leave to buy Monsoon Combo and green curry all at once. I got too excited and ended up eating both after returning home💦 It felt like Thai food adjusted to Japanese taste, so I could eat it without sweating. Delicious. Very delicious homemade Thai curry. I was very surprised at the price here. It is take out only. It is very well priced and you can pick up a very decent sized rice with a generous portion of curry sauce with three karage (fried chicken) for less than 500 yen including tax. If you have a chance to visit here, please try it. The curry sauce really hits the spot and you can have spicy, sweet and sour all in one. My favorite is the yellow curry. It is spicy and sweet and a little sour. The red curry (Tom-yam) is also very good. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
