Quick service udon joint located inside Kita Senju station on the upper concourse area. House made noodles have the perfect bite and the light bodied broth is packed with fish umami. Great bang for buck.

「いぶきうどん」 is inside the Kita-Senju Station complex, outside the ticket gates near the Tobu Line gates. There's a ticket machine in front of the entrance. After entering, hand over your meal ticket and wait for your food! This time I ordered the kake special and a beef bowl! The freshly boiled udon, freshly fried tempura and soup with a strong iriko stock flavour were very delicious♪ You can add green onions, ginger and other condiments yourself. They also reuse the iriko left over from making the stock to make tsukudani, and this is delicious too‼︎ It goes with both udon and rice, so it's great! Thank you for the meal‼︎

An udon shop inside the Kita-Senju Station complex (outside the ticket gates). There are some seats, but it's mainly a standing dining setup. The interior is a little cluttered and not very relaxing, but I was surprised by how delicious the udon was. The noodles, stock, meat and the karaage I added as a topping were all delicious. Service is fast too, so it's also recommended for a quick meal.

I visited in June of ２６. It's by the north-exit ticket gates of Kita-Senju Station on the Tobu Line. Tobu Line passengers have to leave the ticket gates to buy anything. Please note. It's a standing udon shop with a counter around the kitchen, but there are a few seats at the back. After buying a ticket at the vending machine by the entrance, hand it over inside and queue in order. Once you receive your food, you can add as much ginger, tempura crumbs, iriko tsukudani and green onion as you like. (Laughs) If you want water, fill a paper cup here. I ordered the beef bowl and kake udon set for ９２０ yen⁉️ I expected a beef bowl as the main with plain udon, but looking at the bowl, it was a mini beef bowl. The soup has a strong iriko stock flavour, like Kansai Sanuki udon, but the bite is certainly softer than the chewy Musashino udon from Saitama! Maybe something too distinctive wouldn't be popular. It was an udon-focused set, but I ended up full. Standing udon in Kita-Senju might be a good option too.
