I ordered sushi rolls, and even though there were only 2, they took an unusually long time. Apparently the older lady watching the shop made them. When I got home and opened the container, there was none of the gari that's usually included. At a glance, the pieces weren't cut evenly either. When I picked one up with chopsticks to eat, it fell apart—it wasn't properly rolled! Looking through the bottom of the container, rice was sticking out, with grains stuck all over the nori. If I'd known she was the only one there and couldn't make them, I wouldn't have bought them! I bought them for my elderly father, but he probably wouldn't even enjoy the taste of rolls like these. More importantly, when I tried to pick them up with chopsticks, they unrolled, the fillings fell out, and the rice crumbled. They were too difficult to eat, so I couldn't give them to him. I won't buy here again.

My first visit in a while to 花すし, which specializes in takeout. I wonder how many decades they've been operating. The sushi toppings are consistently good, with thick-cut tuna typical of an old downtown neighborhood? The countryside? My impression is that it's always busy on weekends. Tuna is their specialty, and the value is excellent! The quality has never let me down. Rather than buying random prepared food at the supermarket opposite, buying here offers better value and peace of mind. The whole anago was seasoned perfectly too. The lady at the register is also very kind! I'll use them again.

It's consistently delicious whenever we have it. We haven't been to conveyor-belt sushi in a while. Everyone in the family says they'd rather have 「花すし」.

The older lady with the bad reputation still didn't even say welcome (haha). ＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊ ２０１９年０８月３０日 (Friday) Around １９:00 Unlike conveyor-belt sushi toppings, these are delicious 😋🍴💕 and the size of the rice is completely different too. There are specials depending on the day. I sometimes hear bad rumors about the older lady from people around me, but there's also a cute female part-timer.

Almost all the ikura had burst. There was also a piece of plastic mixed in. I hope they'll be more careful in the future.
