2024.5 revisited The food was as delicious and the place as comfortable as ever, and I had a lovely time^_^ —————————————————— This was my 3rd visit. I'd ordered the horse sashimi I'd long wanted to try, which requires advance reservation.(We ordered 2 servings for 3 people) I was surprised by an amount that didn't look like just 2 servings, and the lean meat had a rich flavor and was really delicious! It's a dish I definitely recommend reserving and trying. I first visited on a friend's recommendation, and the seasonal dishes and regular menu are both thoughtfully put together. It's become one of my favorite places! The sashimi is prepared very carefully too. The owner who cooks and the woman serving the dining room are both gentle, pleasant people, making it a very relaxing space! I had a really enjoyable time over drinks! Apparently they start serving hot pots in winter, so I'm planning to visit again. I don't want it to get too crowded, but it's a recommended spot in Takenotsuka. Apparently they have Instagram too. 2024.12 revisited The sashimi, especially kawakawa and shark heart, was delicious🐠
View on GoogleI found out about this place through a Facebook post announcing its renovation about 1 year ago. This is already my 3rd or 4th visit. Every dish is delicious, cheap, and the atmosphere is great. It's fantastic. The 麒麟山 sour is dangerous because I could drink it endlessly😁 The chrysanthemum greens tempura in the photo is just a half portion😳 I think I'll keep coming back many times✨️
View on GoogleA new generation has taken over, and the menu has been completely revamped! Everything is reasonably priced! It's close to the station, so why not give it a try? 浜キム!!!! The homemade shiokara and stew are must-tries
View on GoogleI made a reservation before going. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff are kind, so it's very comfortable! But there are so many little flies…
View on GoogleI visit all sorts of restaurants and bars, but it's been a long time since I felt this unpleasant. Visited after 17:00 on 2023.2.20(Monday). What brought me in was a sign outside for a “solo drinking set(1000円)” that happened to catch my eye as I walked past. After entering, I looked around to check the set's contents and make my choices, but neither the menu in my hands nor any signs inside mentioned it. Confused, I asked a well-built man in the kitchen who seemed to be the manager, “About the 1000円 set…?” He curtly snapped, “Look at the menu!” That gave me a bad feeling, but I pulled myself together and ordered the safe choice of “draft beer” and “cutlassfish sashimi,” which looked like the day's recommendation on the menu. Once the beer, otoshi appetizer, and sashimi arrived, I was taking photos as usual when the same man suddenly shouted, “Your casual way of speaking is offensive, and don't take photos without permission! It's common sense!” Common sense??… Well, even granting that taking photos without asking was wrong(though this was the first time anyone had said that after I'd visited over 100 restaurants; besides, it was my own order that I was paying for, I wasn't snapping pictures all over the interior, and if photos aren't allowed, they could just put up a sign…), what does he mean by being offended by casual speech(note… speaking without honorifics)? If you need to feel so superior that you'd say that to a customer, shouldn't you avoid the hospitality business altogether?(What's more, he himself spoke casually to an elderly male customer who came in afterward, and responded irritably when the man repeatedly asked how to order the “1000円 set” because he didn't understand. The poor old man became nervous and eventually ordered exactly what the restaurant told him to… So much for a set with choices!) So the service was appalling before we even get to the food and drink, but one thing stays with me. There was another elderly staff member inside… Judging from their interactions, I think he was the previous proprietor. His service was quiet but courteous, and left a good impression. From their interactions, the several elderly customers who came in after me(including the old man mentioned earlier)all seemed to be regulars from the previous proprietor's time. It saddens me to think these people will increasingly feel uncomfortable here, as I saw today. Disregarding the atmosphere and customers the previous owner worked so hard to build, running the place like a petty king, choosing customers based on his own ego and pride above all else. Thinking about what will happen from here left me feeling sad and helpless. Well, I won't be going back.
