I love the Mapo Tofu & Tebasaki Karaage (eat with salt)! Delicious meal after late night onsen nearby Open 6PM until 2AM everyday
View on GoogleCurrently open only at night. It's safest to go after 7. The food is of course delicious, but I recommend using it like an izakaya.
View on GoogleThe taste is average but points off for the wife's attitude When the place isn't crowded, it's crazy to tell a customer who obviously has lots of bags to go to a cramped seat. Regulars who stroll right in don't get directed like that. Is she out of her mind? A cramped seat is fine, but at least let me put my bags out of the way
View on GoogleThe mapo tofu and pan-fried gyoza are delicious. This is my regular spot.
View on GoogleIt gives the impression of being neither here nor there—a Chinese restaurant or an izakaya that serves Chinese food. The sign out front says "dinner set meals" in huge letters, but there's no such menu inside. Only when I asked whether they had set meals did they finally bring out the menu. I ordered the cartilage karaage from the quick-drink set, the tori soba set from the dinner set meals, and the tantanmen set, but the cartilage karaage was a shoddy thing just coated in karaage flour and fried, with no seasoning at all. The tori soba was just relentlessly salty (tasted only of 味覇), and the tantanmen had no heat—if anything, it tasted sweet. As for the fried rice, it had no flavor. It can only be described as either lazy or lacking any sense. I'll probably never go again.
