Great meals at a very good price, love the set-up and foreigner friendly.

The place I wanted to go was closed again because I didn't check properly. It was a public holiday, after all. So I came here on short notice. The walk was pretty tough. 🥵 The interior is exceptionally clean. Doesn't feel old at all. As soon as I walked in, about 80% of the seats were taken. Mostly families. Super popular. I barely managed to grab an open counter seat. Then another family came in. Into the raised tatami area at the back. One or two people would be fine, but 4–5 piling in one after another. Total chaos. Even so, the owner didn't bat an eye, in full "bring it on" mode. 👏👏😆 Gomoku ramen Fairly neat presentation. Datemaki is there, of course. Tried the soup. Hm? A bit lacking. Light flavor. Not many vegetables in the toppings either. The noodles were also cooked a little on the soft side. The chashu was delicious. Cost performance: questionable. 🌟3.5 Mapo tofu Dug right in. Oh~ the savory umami type. First time I've come across one like this in a while. Love it. No sourness and the spice is mild. The sauce is thick. Quite a generous portion. Not quite next-level, but highly rated. Cost performance is excellent too. 🌟4.5 I'd really like to give it ⭐️5, but I'm docking it for access. ↓
View on GoogleThe quintessential machi-chuka❗ The ramen is super light with extra-thin noodles. Surprisingly filling 🍜🍥 The price is just 500 yen (tax included) 👀‼ Isn't that way too cheap? The stir-fried liver and garlic chives was 700 yen, seasoned a little on the strong side, just the way I like it. It's in a residential area, but the parking lot fits 3 cars. Unbeatable cost performance❗
View on GoogleVisited on a weekday It got full while I was still eating Ordered ramen for 500 yen and fried rice for 750 yen The ramen had thin noodles and a light flavor The fried rice was ordinary Nothing special, nothing bad Ordering ramen with a half set seems like the way to go
