I visited around afternoon snack time. Although it was a weekday, the place seemed fairly full, perhaps because the prices are reasonable. Maybe it was an issue with where we were seated, but the flame didn't reach the cheese fondue pot, so it stayed lukewarm. When I asked the staff, they paid attention to it, but it wasn't easily fixed. The shrimp ajillo was piping hot and delicious😋 Having a telephone handset made it easy to call the staff, which was very helpful. I'm interested in the pasta too, so I'd like to visit again!

I made a reservation and went for lunch with my daughter. The lunch course came with soup and salad, and the pasta was delicious too. The pot of tea was also delicious😋 We ordered extra pancakes and enjoyed a blissful moment🥞 On a previous visit without a reservation, we couldn't get in right away, so I recommend booking.

📍Arang Arang (アランアラン) When we visited on Saturday at lunchtime, we were told the wait would be about 1 hour. It's a popular restaurant, so I recommend booking or allowing plenty of time for your visit. Apparently that day happened to be some kind of festival day in Kita-Senju, with portable shrines and a parade on the street in front of the restaurant and quite a crowd. The whole neighbourhood felt lively, including during the wait. The interior is arranged like semi-private rooms, making it a relaxing space. You order using the telephone provided, which was a unique experience. The pasta was genuinely delicious and felt worth the wait. The two of us entered just after 15:00 on Friday 4/24. The food was very delicious, but the service attitude was so bad I didn't even want to give it 1 star. When we entered, I made eye contact with 2 or 3 female staff members, but there was no greeting at all—no “Welcome,” “Please sit and wait,” or “How many people?”—so we were confused about what to do. After wondering with my friend, we decided to sit down on our own on the bench in front of the register and wait. The female staff were chatting at the register. After we waited about 5 minutes, a man came out and finally told them to show us to a table. A female staff member who seemed new showed us in, but even though plenty of tables were empty, she told us to choose between two tables for 2. We didn't mind sitting somewhere small, but the 2 customers who arrived after us were shown to a spacious table for 4. Why were customers arriving after us given a table for 4 instead of one of the available tables for 2? Furthermore, we weren't given water even by the time the food arrived, and it wouldn't have come unless we'd asked. What about the fact that the customers who came later got theirs immediately? Please train your new staff properly. No greeting whatsoever when we entered. Leaving customers unattended in a restaurant is unacceptable. Giving the 2 customers who arrived later a table for 4 instead of an available table for 2 is also unacceptable. Not providing water is unacceptable too. It's a shame, because the food was delicious. This isn't a particularly cheap restaurant, so please do something about all the female staff who were working that day.

This was my first visit. I arrived right when they opened without a reservation, but they kindly prepared a seat for me, saying, “You're welcome to stay until the next reservation.” The food was delicious, and even when I paid, they were considerate about the time limit. Their thoughtful words made me very happy. Next time I'd like to make a reservation and visit again. Not only the food but also the staff's courteous service and personalities impressed me, making this a restaurant I want to return to. Thank you.
