A simple neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The black fried rice is fantastic. The jajang noodles are sweet, spicy, and delicious too. The other noodle dishes are excellent as well. I'm happy that they always greet me warmly whenever I visit. I come fairly often and never get bored. It seems they've appeared on TV and so on too. I'd really like you to try the fried rice at least once.
View on GoogleThe specialties are white, black, and red fried rice, with plenty of other original dishes at this lively, clean neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It's in a residential area a short walk from Gotanno Station. The interior isn't very large, with counter and table seating, subdued lighting, and a TV playing. Alongside the standards, the menu features photos of various original dishes. Be sure to look through every part before choosing! The black uses tamari soy sauce, the red is probably kimchi, and the white is regular fried rice. There's even shrimp chili fried rice. There are lots of mapo options too, with glass noodles, tofu, eggplant, and ramen. It's somewhere between Sichuan and Japanese style, reasonably spicy, and hot! The gyoza are juicy and delicious too! Basically, everything is delicious. Impressive. I'd like to keep coming back and try all kinds of dishes.
View on GoogleI'd been curious about this place ever since moving nearby, and dashed over during my lunch break😆 I was surprised to see the lady owner there, as I'd been worried about her after reading information about the shop! The atmosphere was warm, the food was really delicious, and all the dishes I didn't order looked intriguing too! The portion was huge, but it tasted so good that before I knew it, I'd finished😳 I'd been feeling down about various things and went thinking, "I'm going to eat something delicious!" It gave me such a boost! I feel like I can get through this week too💪 I'd definitely love to visit again!
View on Google2025.11.12 (Wednesday): After an appointment at a nearby hospital, I visited for the first time for a slightly late lunch and some daytime drinking. The vegetable-heavy “gyoza” were so juicy that liquid dripped out when I bit into them. They were well seasoned, so vinegar and chili oil might be all you need for dipping. The dine-in-only “negi char siu” featured moist, tender char siu cut into strips, with plenty of long green onion thinly sliced on the diagonal, all coated in a fairly oily sauce. It went perfectly with beer. Even the “red fried rice” I'd supposedly ordered to finish the meal was mildly spicy with Sichuan pepper, making it a drinking snack too—a wonderfully troublesome dish, haha. The lady working attentively and speaking gently, together with an interior that was clean and chic for a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, created a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. On this occasional (?) weekday off, I enjoyed some great daytime drinking at a good neighborhood Chinese spot.
View on GoogleI tried the black fried rice here because I'd seen it mentioned in reviews. Apparently it uses Chinese soy sauce; it was fragrant, slightly sweet, and delicious. The staff are always kind and cheerful, making it an easy place to visit. Apparently they used to offer half portions of fried rice, but they don't anymore.
