Comfortable, small local museum.

View on GoogleYou buy tickets at the counter on the right as you enter. The atrium right at the entrance was impressive. The 1st floor is for special exhibitions, the 2nd floor is the permanent exhibition. At the back right of the entrance there were also elevators, restrooms, and lockers. It's very clean, easy to view, and you can take your time. The permanent exhibition covers the history of Adachi Ward, and you can enjoy a wide range of things, from a model of Kameari as a post town to Ebi Cream Rice. In April 2026, I went to see the exhibition "Kano School and Tani School: Copies and Model Paintings Left by Painters." It was a rare exhibition of only copies and model paintings, and the pictures, with a different flavor from the original paintings, were interesting.
