Dishes are mouthwatering, especially the Stew of beef cheek. Lots of girls here who don't care about what others can hear. I was so surprised to hear very private of her own.

I had lunch at イタリアンバル 2538, about 3 minutes on foot from the west exit of 北千住 Station. The stylish interior has the warmth of wood and an open feel, with an atmosphere that is welcoming for girls' gatherings, dates, or dining alone. It's popular at lunchtime and was bustling with customers right after opening. The Saturday-and-Sunday-only lunch includes an appetizer buffet, making it an easy way to enjoy authentic Italian food. This time I had the pasta lunch. It's a very satisfying set with a main pasta dish, an appetizer buffet, and a small dessert. The appetizers offer plenty of variety, and it's lovely to sample a little of everything, including salads, marinated dishes, and quiche. Everything was carefully prepared, making me want to go back for more again and again. They also go well with bread, so even the wait for the main course is enjoyable. The pasta had a pleasantly chewy texture with sauce that clung well, making for a thoroughly satisfying plate. There were plenty of ingredients too, keeping it enjoyable to the last bite. The portions weren't lacking just because it was lunch, and combined with the appetizer buffet, it leaves you quite full. Apparently the pasta options change regularly, so being able to enjoy a different menu on every visit is another attraction. With even a small dessert after the meal, it's perfect for a day when you want to take your time over lunch. It was more satisfying than the price suggested and felt like excellent value. The restaurant is popular for its wine, but lunch alone was thoroughly enjoyable, so next time I'd like to try dinner and the food-and-wine pairings. It's a place I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stylish lunch in 北千住.

So happy about the Saturday-and-Sunday-only lunch with an all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet! After enjoying as many vegetable-packed appetizers as you like, the mains are 🦀 swimming crab linguine in tomato cream sauce and 🧀 lasagna, a generously sized set. The pasta portion is substantial, the rich tomato cream infused with crab flavor coats the pasta beautifully, and the linguine's chewy texture is fantastic too. The lasagna makes its presence felt as well; honestly, the satisfaction goes beyond lunch. And on top of that, 🍎 dessert is apple pie. With all of this included, there's nothing to complain about. An appetizer buffet + a generously sized main, with this much included, the amazing value makes perfect sense. In 北千住, recommended for lunch on 「a day when you want a proper big meal」. Reservations are recommended for the Saturday-and-Sunday-only lunch! If you go right after opening, you might not need to queue, but they take orders from people with reservations first, so〜

I finally made it to 2538, which I'd wanted to visit for ages because the name caught my attention🙌 When I went inside, even though it was a weekday dinner, every spot was filled with reservations! Some people were being turned away, so booking ahead is the safest bet👍 I was happy that the 2 kinds of bread served as the appetizer (a chewy kind and French bread) came with refills🥖 They're delicious on their own and of course also delicious dipped into dishes with plenty of sauce🙆‍♀️ There's a wide wine selection, and I got to try orange wine for the first time🍊 Just one thing: I was seated beside a wine cooler, and when its door opened it was so close to the table that it felt dangerous, haha😂 I don't think I'd really want that seat again, haha. But everything I ate was delicious, so I'd like to return, and I'm curious about their sister restaurants too🫶
