So-called happy hour is 16:00-19:00 Almost all drinks are half price, drawn by that charm I went. Medium draft beer ¥605 -> half price, a great deal. Nigiri sushi was especially delicious! Tuna, red seabream, salmon ¥175, conger eel ¥219. The toppings are thick and there's no bad smell! You can feel they are particular about freshness. Especially the seabream had firm flesh and was irresistible! The shari (sushi rice) was also fluffy, which I liked. Atka mackerel (shima hokke) was also delicious! Thick and fatty. Ordering is via mobile order, and there's proper Wi-Fi. Happy that you can order sushi starting from one piece, with or without wasabi! At the counter, you can watch the artisan hand-forming sushi right in front of you, and in the back of the shop there is a sunken kotatsu where you take off your shoes and sit, making it easy to visit with families.
View on GoogleIt was a shop where you could reasonably enjoy a wide range of choices from sushi, of course, to sashimi, fried foods, tempura, and even motsunabe (offal hot pot). The drink menu was also well-stocked, and I spent my time without getting tired of drinking, starting with beer, moving to gari-chu (ginger pickled sour), and then sake. Visited with 2 people just past 6:00 PM on a weekday. There were prior customers, but we were guided with a 'Choose any seat you like' vibe to the counter, tables, or sunken kotatsu in the back, and we chose a table seat. Only the first drink is ordered from a staff member, and after that via mobile order. Mobile ordering can sometimes make it hard to look for items on the menu, but large-format menus with photos were also provided, making it easy to decide. There were also items not supported by mobile ordering, and quite a few dishes hit the spot nicely. There was also a drink half-price service until 7:00 PM, which helped the drinks flow even more. Starting with sashimi, even though it was a hot day, we made motsunabe the main. Finished off with udon. Finally, we shared an assorted sushi platter between two people. We were satisfied as we ate while sharing a packed menu. I want to go again.
View on GoogleDrinking after work. I like squid legs (geso) and always order about 10 pieces, so I sometimes worry if they think I'm a stingy customer, but since mobile ordering is available, it's convenient if you feel embarrassed to say it out loud! Plus, some drinks are half-price until 7:00 PM, which is a huge help. Sometimes I come close to closing time due to overtime at work, but even then, sushi starts from 65 yen so the cost performance is great. And the lemon sour is delicious. Since I can't drink beer, I only order the lemon sour, and I feel it's such a good shop that I could come just for that 💫✨ The employees are also kind, and they even prepared a luggage holder for someone like me who basically has a lot of luggage. The manager (owner?) is also good at handling things, and I think his skills at making sushi are good. Lately I've been coming almost every day, but I don't think there are any employees with bad attitudes like others say. Drinks come quickly too. As for the food, since I am aware I'm ordering things that take time, I don't mind that much. Free Wi-Fi is available, and you can just spend time tapping your smartphone until the food arrives. I feel like it's a shop I want to keep coming to every day 😊
View on GoogleI was surprised that there was such a good shop within walking distance in front of Shiki Station! It was my first time visiting, but the staff were working briskly, which was very pleasant to watch. I felt it was solid customer service in a 'good way strict'. The quality of each dish is also high. Aside from the sashimi, the 'Gari Chicken Nanban' and 'Chicken Wings' were especially exquisite. What touched me was the 'Octopus Wiener'; it's not just a regular wiener, it has a subtle twist, making it the ultimate accompaniment to alcohol. They also have horumon nabe, expanding the width of the menu. And above all, what surprised me was that the sushi isn't made by a machine, but properly hand-formed by an artisan. Even the finishing sushi was authentic and highly satisfying. There was a slight mistake in the order, but the response at that time didn't show a single sign of annoyance and they handled it promptly and cheerfully, which actually raised my favorability. Found the optimal shop for a small dining out. I will definitely go again!
View on GoogleBeing in front of the station, it was very lively. (Maybe because it was Saturday) You can go with kids, so it's geared towards families 👪 Reservations are recommended for drinking parties etc. 🍺 Despite boasting about being a sushi shop, the freshness of the sashimi was lackluster 😞 The female staff member had a smiling and good impression, but the male staff member was expressionless and didn't feel very friendly 😞 Overall, I guess it's a good shop...
