Udon noodle restaurant. Staffs were cheerful or communicative and I felt good with them even though the taste was just normal. Tendon (rich with fried shrimp) only had two shrimps on the rich even though the rice part tasted good enough covered by enough amount of half-heated egg source.

The weekday lunch-only set is a great deal! Impressed by the curry udon at "Udon Yamakawa" Visited around 14:40. The restaurant was bustling with a wide range of people from businessmen to madams at this time, showing that it is loved by the community. Initially, I aimed for kitsune udon, but upon learning that there is a profitable weekday lunch set until 15:00, and recommended by the staff as "most popular", I changed to the "Curry Udon Set (1,155 yen including tax)". Honestly, curry udon was not a type I would voluntarily order, but one bite overturned that thought. The balance of soup stock and curry is exquisite, with umami spreading with every bite. This is a quality that makes me want to repeat without hesitation from next time. Paper aprons are also provided, so it's a nice consideration that you can enjoy it wholeheartedly without worrying about soup splatters. A bowl that convinced me it's their signature menu item! Thank you for the meal.

I knew about the restaurant, but after years of missing the chance, it's my first visit. Looking at the menu, I ordered what appears to be their signature product, which appears first: the "Chicken Tempura Curry Udon". The restaurant was empty, but it took about 5 minutes to be served. Sipping the broth first, the spicy, slightly hot, and rich broth makes me want white rice. As for the udon, it has a firm chewiness, making Kagawa udon cross my mind, but the tenderness of the chicken tempura meat and the crispiness of the batter make you groan that it's indeed a popular restaurant. The meat bits floating in the broth also have the flavor soaked in firmly, sinking deeper and deeper into the depth, and I ended up drinking all the broth.

Visited around 11:30 on a weekday. The parking lot 🅿️ was full and there was a bit of a wait, so I signed the ledger and waited for about 10 minutes. Inside there were counter seats, table seats, and tatami seating, and the turnover was fairly fast ☝️ There was a rich menu, but I ordered the katsudon and mini udon (cold) from the profitable 🉐 set menu. When I ordered the katsudon in large size, the amount of rice 🍚 was about 3 times normal, and it was pretty tough 💦💦💦 However, the taste was delicious (≧∇≦)b My mother ordered the country set. A set of dashi-infused udon and seasoned rice 🍚 It seemed delicious and she was happy ☺️ Billing was about 2300 yen for two people, so it felt like a good deal 👌 The atmosphere of the restaurant is also good, and it seems like a shop older people would appreciate.

Despite writing in the menu that you can ask for anything, when I asked if the chicken tempura in the chicken tempura curry udon could be served separately, I was refused in a second. Lol There was plenty of space since there were 3 people at a 4-person table, but I thought it was dirty that they placed the burdock tempura by touching the handle of the pitcher on the table.
