I was here two years ago and came back because I remembered how good it was. Wasn’t disappointed at all! It was totally awesome again;)

View on GoogleA bowl of bliss where rich Hokkaido miso and super butter melt together Early lunch at "Menba Tadokoro Shoten". This time I ordered "Hokkaido Miso Pickled Aburi Chashu" with a topping of "Super Butter", and further ordered "Oika Meshi" (rice to add to leftover soup). Hokkaido miso originally has a punchy, rich taste, but as the large butter melts, it transforms into a very mild and deep-flavored soup. This is a stable deliciousness that can be called orthodox miso ramen. Hokkaido miso includes 2 skin-on wedge-cut potatoes. The fluffy texture unexpectedly matches the rich soup well. The aburi chashu is thick and chewy, and the smokiness makes it very filling. In the end, I poured plenty of the remaining soup over the oika meshi (about 5 bowls worth!), and gobbled it all down at once. This "Miso Chazuke" was so delicious that I was extremely satisfied until the very end. Thank you for the meal! [Order Details] ・1 slice of Hokkaido Miso Pickled Aburi Chashu: 1,133 yen ・Super Butter: 165 yen ・Oika Meshi: 143 yen Total: 1,441 yen
View on GoogleOrdered Edomae Miso Aburi 1-slice Chashu Men. Ordered an additional slice of chashu and croquette menma. Since I can eat authentic miso ramen, I frequently use Tadokoro Shoten. Previously I used to order Hokkaido miso, but this was my first time trying Edomae miso. It feels like the miso saltiness is modest, and for myself, this one feels more suitable. My wife ordered Shinshu miso so I got a spoonful of soup, but this one felt a little salty (maybe because I compared them side by side...). Chashu is thick and filling. However, since I would regret it later (it upsets my stomach), I only added 1 slice. The menma is small in number (3 pieces) but large and delicious. (It seems to be hidden by the ramen bowl in the photo...) Overall it's well-balanced, and it's understandable why they have shops everywhere. It's a pity I can only go occasionally because I'm at an age where I worry about salt intake...
View on GoogleDelicious. I ordered the limited-time Kyoto white miso ramen. The noodles were smaller, and I topped it with one slice of chashu. The white miso was good. True to the Kyoto name, it had fresh yuba on top and yuzu miso for flavor-changing, which made me very happy. Maybe again next time?
