A slow and laid-back okonomiyaki restaurant "Tanpopo" - About 300 meters from JR Kyuhoji Station Located in a nice-looking spot. Today, I had the negiyaki made into a set meal. Run single-handedly by the landlady, it takes a little time, but it was a simple yet deeply flavorful preparation well worth the wait.

An okonomiyaki shop located straight south from JR Kyuhoji Station. Since the shop is a renovated warehouse, there are only about 10 seats, so it fills up quickly. The menu is simple: okonomiyaki, yakisoba, teppanyaki, and oden. Since the mother runs the teppan single-handedly, it takes a little time, but it's delicious enough to make it worth the wait. Tonpeiyaki is pork wrapped in egg, but this is a rare type served with stir-fried bean sprouts and cabbage. There is a coin parking lot nearby for parking.

Since the landlady runs it alone, I wouldn't recommend it to people in a rush, but the atmosphere is good, feeling like a true Osaka local okonomiyaki shop. The prices aren't that cheap. Since my office is close by, if my boss treats me, I'd repeat it.

True downtown. A true Showa-era restaurant. Whenever you go, it always provides the same atmosphere, the same food, a comforting restaurant. But don't underestimate it. As of 2018/03/07, it has a high rating of 3.8 on Tabelog. The okonomiyaki and yakisoba are delicious. Some people wrote in reviews that the service was unfriendly, but maybe it was just a coincidence? When I went, the service was very friendly.
