Very friendly couple running the store. The curry udon was delicious, and they gave me some persimmon after, which was really sweet of them. No English menu, so you may need to bring a translator app.
View on GoogleMatsune Sushi I had a drinking party around here in the evening, so I arrived early and wandered around! There was a sushi restaurant with a flavorful exterior along the river, and wandering in just like that haha! Had sushi for lunch(´▽`)/ Since it's a long-established exterior, I thought market-price sushi might be served, but there was a menu and it was super reasonable! The mother kindly welcomes you. I hesitated with nigiri, but this time I went for one portion of chirashi ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ It looks like fish swimming on a yellow cushion of egg, with the pink of sakura denbu and the black of nori, and the visual is just the best♪ The fish were yellowtail, eel, shrimp, octopus, tuna, and sea bream, and the neta were large and filling. Fresh and properly prepped, this is delicious~! The vinegared rice had subdued vinegar, and the addition and subtraction of flavors with the fish, nori, egg, and sakura denbu was extremely well balanced! Next time I come I want to drink sake while eating nigiri sushi Thank you for the meal! Matsune Sushi! No doubt about it!!! P/S: Thank you for teaching me photo spots, etc.♪
View on GoogleThe chirashi sushi is very gorgeous just by its appearance, packed densely with colorful seafood filling the bowl! Fresh neta like tuna, salmon, shrimp, and eel are luxuriously piled high, and with every bite happiness filled my mouth. The compatibility with the vinegared rice was also outstanding, and I could enjoy it deliciously until the very end. The chawanmushi has a smooth texture, the aroma of dashi gently spreads, and it has a heartwarming, gentle taste. It had plenty of ingredients inside and I am very satisfied.
View on GoogleVisited on the way back from Onji Shrine ⛩️ A sushi restaurant I've been curious about for a while 🍣 Seems to be run by a mother and son parent-child duo ✨ It was just lunchtime, so they recommended that they also have a lunch menu!, but.. My daughter ordered the upper nigiri (1 portion), and I ordered the medium nigiri (1 portion). Red miso soup (fish), and since there was no egg inside the nigiri, I ordered egg a la carte. Besides udon and soba, rice bowl dishes and unajyu (grilled eel) were also on the menu ✨ The neta were fresh and very delicious 🍣 I might have even been able to eat 1.5 portions.. haha I only have a picture of the medium nigiri 🍣, but I hope this serves as a reference ☺️✨ It seems they also have takeout, so it's like 'if I get the chance ♡' ~ ✨
View on GoogleFrom sushi to rice bowls, udon, and soba, a wide range of menus, a kind mother, and a similarly kind and attentive chef. The shop size, atmosphere, and cleanliness are good, there is a parking lot, and barcode payments, PayPay, and electronic money are also supported. Of course, coronavirus countermeasures are in place. I was hesitating whether to order the tamagokake udon set written on the whiteboard, consulted the chef saying I wish it was soba, and he responded immediately, so kind. The taste was super delicious. I wanted to order sushi for New Year's, but it was fully booked with reservations. The nigiri must be delicious too. I want to eat it! My house is nearby so I think I'll go again 😊
