An old-school coffee shop with a Showa style where smoking is also allowed. The lunch is delicious, cheap, and very filling. I've eaten the tonkatsu and crab cream croquette, and both were particularly memorable because the crispiness lasted until the very end. Makes you want to go back again and again without getting tired of it. Be careful as it gets crowded after 12:00 PM!

Reminded of the fried oyster set meal I had a few years ago which had about 8 pieces and was very hearty, I wanted to eat it again and revisited. Unfortunately, there was no fried oyster set meal on this day, so I ordered the fried shrimp set meal. This also had 5 shrimps, was satisfying to eat, crispy, and very delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that the smell of cigarettes bothered me since smoking is allowed inside. Since the food is very satisfying, I think it's a restaurant I can recommend to those who don't mind the smell.

Having business in Shiki, Yao, I stopped by the reputed coffee shop "Kumpa" for lunch. What I ordered was the daily minced cutlet set meal. When it arrived, I was surprised, wow, there were two huge pieces! Even the rice was about 1.7 servings, defying the current times. As for the taste, it wasn't sloppy, but an orthodox Western-style restaurant minced cutlet, and I enjoyed it. The miso soup is good, with so much fried tofu as if to say "how about this!", giving a great flavor. ◼️ At 880 yen for this, it's wonderful.

A coffee shop located in Tennojiya, Yao City. The popular lunch: Weekdays until 14:00 with miso soup Sundays and holidays until 15:00 without miso soup This time I ordered the tonkatsu set meal. The tonkatsu is tender and comes with tomatoes, salad, spaghetti, and macaroni salad. Even the regular rice comes in a large size, so those with small appetites should be careful. Unfortunately, you can smoke inside, so if a nearby customer is smoking it gets smoky, so I want them to make it non-smoking at least during lunchtime. There is no parking lot, but it seems okay to park around the shop. I am full, thank you for the delicious tonkatsu lunch 😋

Today's lunch Fried oyster set meal 900 yen Minced cutlet set meal 900 yen Yakisoba set meal 700 yen Hmm. No yakisoba set meal today. Well then, entering the shop. About 90% full. Quite a popular shop. A female staff member welcomes and guides us. In addition to the lunch menu in front of the shop, there are various others, but I ordered the minced cutlet set meal that somehow caught my eye. Since smoking is allowed inside, while having a puff of a cigarette, waiting for about 7 minutes... Here it comes! Minced cutlet set meal! Two fairly large minced cutlets! Well then, right away... Starting with the minced cutlet... Two large, somewhat thin minced cutlets. Topped with demi-glace sauce. Fried with a crispy batter, moderately juicy. The mellow-tasting demi-glace sauce is nice. The side dishes like macaroni salad and cold Neapolitan are also nostalgically good. The amount of rice is quite a lot, so balance with the side dishes is important. Ate heartily and finished it all. Coffee shop lunches are somehow nice, aren't they. Thank you for the meal.
