Quiet and small place in a residential neighbourhood. I had the udon set, which comes with rice, udon and some assorted dishes. The udon broth is pretty standard but is topped with Yuzu peel, which made for an interesting taste overall. If I had to nitpick, I would say the udon on the soft side compared to chewy, which I personally prefer, but some things you just can’t expect out of a 700 yen meal. The overall vibe of the udon set feels like something you would give to a worker after a long day of work, lots of carbs to recoup the energy. Thus if you are dropping by as a tourist, I would probably recommend the upgrade to something like a tempura set for more variety and meat. The owner was very pleasant and offered me some fruit slices too. We had a good chat after the meal. 5/5

Here for trip and it was really close to JR Yao station. The owner was nice, food was reasonable and very delicious. The thickest shrimp that I’ve ever had. 10/10!! Staminadon, tempura 定食, and tori karaage. Recommend!!

Delicious and homestyle restaurant with one of the best katsudon I've eaten. Warm and friendly staff it was a delightful meal I thoroughly enjoyed! Great value too. Very generous prices.
