The walkway and the eat-in space are close together, and it's open and fully visible, so the foot traffic is bothersome. The coffee and pasta set is reasonably priced, which is good. It took a while to come out — maybe the microwave time is long?

I felt they were taking customers for fools. That's because I ordered the “Oven-Baked Hotcake,” but what came out wasn't like the first photo, a hotcake with syrup and butter on top — instead I got a plain hotcake with nothing on it and was handed something like the second photo (this photo is for reference only; sorry I didn't photograph the actual thing), and the idea was to pour it on yourself. It was really cheap and I couldn't finish it. Isn't that false advertising? It was really unpleasant.

I come here often. The area around Kintetsu Yao used to have lots of privately run coffee shops, but they've closed and there are fewer now. There are two HOLLY'S CAFE locations, one on the promenade from Kintetsu Yao Station to LINOAS and one in Ario Yao, but I often go to this one for convenience. Jazz plays, and depending on the time, there's a moderate number of customers so you can drink coffee calmly. There's a morning set all day, so sleepyheads can relax too☺️ From April 2025, the morning set went up in price yet again! 460 yen It was still a good deal at 450 yen, but it's a price hike that hurts the wallet. A new shop had opened, so I stopped by A self-service coffee shop There's a morning set all day That's not even morning anymore lol Prices are cheap overall, but it's plenty satisfying The shop is run by one person, so when it's crowded there's inevitably a wait at the register and for orders, but you'll be amazed at how efficient and polite the staff member is. Watching them move so briskly, you get to see what professional work looks like. Like a superhuman I'll keep coming here

Visited in May 2022. A café on the 1st floor of Ario Yao. In Ario Yao, a café battleground with Starbucks, Saint Marc Café, Komeda, and Doutor, perhaps because it's lesser-known, it's reasonably priced. Ordered the berry Danish set for 650 yen. The taste doesn't exceed what it looks like, but at this price including coffee, the value makes sense. The coffee is the cold-brew Dutch coffee that Holly's Cafe promotes.
