Visited for lunch with someone from work. Ordered a set meal, and it had quite a volume. However, the soup was unique, or rather, different from what I imagined. Kind of like a musty smell or a rag smell, looking into it, I wonder if it's the taste of doujiang (soy milk broth). I suppose it's authentic Beijing-style seasoning, but an Ohsho-style taste would appeal more to the general public. It had a flavor like Taiwan's stinky tofu, which wasn't my favorite personally. It's not that it tastes bad, so I guess people who get hooked on it will get hooked.

A typical Showa-era town Chinese shop featuring a seasoned old man and his son. The miso is a sweet and sour red-miso style. The noodles are thin yet firm. The fact that it contains pork-like pieces rather than chashu also evokes nostalgia. The fried rice is a slightly mushy type. The presence of Worcestershire sauce also earns high points. 😋

Took out a set meal. Super satisfied with the considerable volume. Of course the taste is good too. There are many kinds of set meals, so I want to try various ones~.
